A Chaotic Love Story in the Mountain City

A chuuni male lead with a few screws loose x a cool, cocky female lead with a minor ailment

Also known as: The childish romance of two hopeless otaku who fall for each other after getting on the same wavelength

Han Siyan and Zhou Shinan first met on the snack street outside their university.

When Han Siyan, playing the part of a "modern-day heroine," was grabbed from behind by a strange man, she thought: Awaken, hunting hour.

Who knew that a white hoodie would suddenly be tied around her waist? The "creep" whispered in her ear:

"Don't move. There's something on your pants."

Han Siyan spent a long, awkward moment standing there in the wind. Seeing him wearing only an undershirt like an old man while trying to look cool with his hands in his pockets, she said through her tears and sniffles:

"Listen, I just want to say thank you, Hoodie Man."

He tilted his head 45 degrees toward the sky. "Remember to return the hoodie. We're in the same class. My nickname is Werewolf of the Fog City."

Their encounters after that:

Han Siyan, working at a convenience store: "Sorry, I'm not a woman who's afraid to walk home alone at night."

Zhou Shinan, sitting in the store: "It's almost 11 p.m. Can I have one of the expired buns?"

Han Siyan, discussing which club to join: "Anyone who doesn't choose the anime club is a dog."

Zhou Shinan, who eventually joins the baking club: "Woof."

(Han Siyan, who eventually joins the hanfu club: "Woof.")

Zhou Shinan, holding a rose on confession night:

"Would you... go out with me?"

Han Siyan, quietly putting her party popper behind her back: Sorry, I thought you were about to pull a prank...
