I Became the Legendary Lunatic Just to Sign In

Amamiya Seiken is widely recognized throughout the organization as a lunatic. If you had to add an adjective, he is a headstrong, highly eccentric lunatic. “He certainly has a lot of personality,” said Scotch Whisky, after Seiken forcibly swapped coats with him the first time they met. “He certainly does whatever he wants,” said Rye Whisky, after Seiken snuffed out the cigarette in his mouth the first time they met. “He’s definitely a lunatic,” Bourbon Whisky said, voicing the thoughts of countless organization members after going on a mission with him. * Amamiya Seiken knows this is a fake world. Though it looks colorful on the surface, in essence it is nothing more than a black-and-white manga. He knows he must not compromise, and that he has to return to the real world that belongs to him. As for this grand ambition: The good news is that he got bound to an unscientific System. The bad news is that the System only has a sign-in function. The good news is that he gets a reward every time he signs in. The bad news is that the rewards are always useless, and are given out whether he wants them or not. After he had signed in for a hundred days, the System finally revealed that the reward for signing in for a thousand consecutive days was the ability to break through the dimensional barrier. Amamiya Seiken: No one can stop me from signing in!! * [Today's task (0109/1000): Sing softly] [Today's task (0213/1000): Go out with an umbrella] [Today's task (0471/1000): No smoking] [Today's task (0617/1000): Lend a helping hand] [Today's task (0714/1000): Praise the sun] [Today's task (0891/1000): Keep it mysterious] Everything here is fake, so you don't need to care what others think. After completing a task, hum a little tune while washing your hands. Carry an umbrella down an alley on a sunny day. Sing the praises of eternity as a shooting star streaks across the night sky. Marvel at the dawn as dusk falls... Dear child, do whatever it takes to reclaim the reality that belongs to you! [Reading Guide] · One-on-one romance, no competing love interests, pairing: Jingguang, happy ending · Jingguang is the top; Scotch × Malt. Do not reverse the pairing · There are many plot clues. Please don't post spoilers in the comments on earlier chapters. If you spot a spoiler, you can contact me directly and I'll delete it · The overall tone isn't lighthearted, and the style is somewhat stream-of-consciousness. I recommend buying one chapter at a time. If it's not to your taste, stop in time to avoid wasting your time, energy, and money · Thank you for supporting the official version. Hope you enjoy reading~ · [Additional note] For the extra stories, I especially recommend the epilogue “Streetlights and the Moon.” The others are optional. I wrote the Jingguang story mostly for my own enjoyment, and after rereading it, I personally don't particularly like any of the alternate-universe extras. I'll refrain from commenting on the rest. Check the summaries and choose whichever ones interest you. I wrote them all myself, but I don't think you need to read every extra. Of course, if you like the others, I'll be honored!
