The Protagonist Is Disqualified: Quick Transmigration

Protagonists are children of fate. Born beyond anyone's reach, they stand at the center of the world. Over the past century, transmigrators and reborn individuals have appeared in endless numbers, stealing the protagonists' fortune. To keep the various small worlds running as they should, the Plot Maintenance Bureau was established.

Chi Yu is a new employee at the Plot Maintenance Bureau. His record-breaking entrance exam results earned him a place with a high-ranking System.

The seasoned System tells Chi Yu that while apprehending transmigrators and reborn individuals, he must also protect the protagonists' defining traits. If the will of the world decides a protagonist is no longer qualified to be a [Protagonist], the small world will collapse as well.

Chi Yu: Got it. Protagonists aren't allowed to go OOC, right?

System: ...That's not wrong.

Some time later, the System realizes that although the protagonists' characterizations haven't fallen apart, their minds are close to breaking.

Chi Yu: The weather's nice. Let's give the protagonist a setback and see if he breaks character today. If he doesn't, he's the protagonist. If he does, then he's just some audacious passerby pretending to be the protagonist.

Worlds to come:

[The Disgraced Genius]

Genius junior brother x senior disciple of the outer sect

"My genius junior brother, how did you lose again? If you can't even beat me, how will you shoulder the world's burdens and save all living beings?"

[The Disgraced Royal House]

Twin princes x royal tutor

"They look exactly alike. Whoever takes the throne is the protagonist."

[The Disgraced Deity]

Deity x priest

"How can a deity harbor selfish desires?"

[The Disgraced Idol]

Idol x assistant

"How can an idol want to fall in love?"

[The Disgraced Emperor]

Emperor x imperial tutor

"How can an emperor willingly submit?"

[Apocalypse] [Superpowers] [ABO] [...]

[The Disgraced System]

System x Host

"How can a string of data possibly have feelings?"

* OOC: Out of Character. Your characterization has fallen apart!

* The Disgraced System is the final world and will remain fixed. Other arcs are still undecided and may not follow the order shown here. The final version takes precedence.

* The main tasks in each arc are to find transmigrators/reborn individuals and test the protagonist. There may be more than one transmigrator or reborn individual in a world, and they aren't necessarily villains. The protagonist of this story is more like a villain who dropped from the sky (?)
