Snow Blankets This Mountain Today

She ran into Lou Ye again on a snowy mountain five thousand meters above sea level.

Xu Yanxi recognized him from his eyes alone.

Just as in high school, Lou Ye didn't remember her, a girl who'd barely made an impression on anyone.

Xu Yanxi could only watch him from afar as she used to, keeping all her affection hidden in her heart.

Later, by good fortune, she stayed at the same guesthouse as him and learned a lot about his life in recent years from other people.

Xu Yanxi was content with that.

On the day they parted, she worked up the courage to say goodbye to Lou Ye, putting a perfect end to her decade-long secret crush.

She saw a trace of confusion in the eyes of the carefree man.

Xu Yanxi was about to mention that they had been classmates in high school when Lou Ye suddenly smiled.

"Xu Yanxi."

His voice was clear and cool as he said her name without a hint of uncertainty. "Long time no see."

One day after she and Lou Ye started dating,

Xu Yanxi was tidying her room when she happened to find an old phone in the bottom drawer of her desk.

There were dozens of unsent love letters on it.

Every line was filled with affection, and each one had the same recipient at the beginning:

To Xu Yanxi.

-One-sided crushes on each other

-Sign language interpreter x criminal police officer
