Summer on Boju Island

After Guan Shu was gloriously laid off, she slunk back to her hometown with four-year-old Guan Qiaoyi in tow.

Her hometown, Boju Island, was an island in the southeast.

Its facilities were outdated, but its people were simple and honest.

Guan Shu had an elderly grandmother to care for and a young dependent at home crying to be fed.

Just as she was worrying about how to make ends meet, her rich ex-boyfriend appeared.

The good news: her ex-boyfriend had amnesia.

The bad news: he still remembered her despite the amnesia, and thought the child was his.

Guan Shu jolted upright as if rising from her deathbed. She looked back at the "Jin Muyan" still busy preparing dinner in the kitchen and was dumbfounded.
