A Marriage Alliance for Revenge

Also known as The Revenge of the Gloomy, Sharp-Tongued Husband

Wen Qingxiang and Su Chengjun grew up together as childhood sweethearts. As adults, they differentiated into an alpha and an omega.

Their pheromones were highly compatible, so they married, but their relationship remained distant. After the wedding, they went about their own business and treated each other with polite respect.

Their days went by quietly, until one day Su Chengjun started making excuses to get drunk, lying, and staying out all night.

Wen Qingxiang knew Su Chengjun might have a problem, but he didn't care.

Then one day, Wen Qingxiang suddenly awakened to his own self-awareness and realized he was inside a book.

Su Chengjun was the book's alpha protagonist. After getting married, he would meet his true love, the omega protagonist, whose pheromones matched his 100 percent. Wen Qingxiang was nothing but the protagonist's cannon-fodder husband.

Holding his pregnancy test results at the hospital, Wen Qingxiang sneered. "You dare cheat on me? You're asking to die."

Su Chengjun had been in a foul mood lately. His relationship with his childhood-sweetheart wife wasn't going anywhere, and he was also being pestered by a ridiculous admirer who had something wrong with him.

One day, the obnoxious admirer came to Su Chengjun's house to deliver some documents, bringing him tea and water. His cheeks were flushed, his eyes brimming with affection.

Faced with this endearing admirer, Su Chengjun guiltily glanced toward his wife's room on the second floor.

He looked up and saw Wen Qingxiang, usually so gentle and courteous, standing on the landing above him. Looking down with a mocking smile, he said, "Su Chengjun, this is the kind of person you're interested in?"

Character dynamic: sharp-tongued, tsundere playboy seme x sharp-tongued, heartless beauty uke

Warnings:

The plot is very melodramatic, and this is a pure-hate pairing. It contains the pregnancy, childbirth, and miscarriage package. Both the seme and uke are scum in their own ways, and both have admirers. The seme gets put through the wringer, so this may not suit fans who are very particular about their favorite.
