A Few Tales of Cutting Hair for the Ancients

A seemingly delicate bottom with a tough-as-nails heart x a seemingly invincible top with a soft, silly heart

This is the story of a modern-day barber who transmigrates to ancient times. He opens a barbershop to make money, listens to his customers’ romantic woes, and keeps getting tangled up in a sweet back-and-forth with his clingy ex-fiance, who still wants to call off their engagement.

A slice-of-life story, with a bit of silliness and awkwardness.

A few things to know before reading:

1. This is a small-town slice-of-life story dressed up as a business story with a System. The couple is monogamous, and their romance has a sweet happy ending.

2. For the sake of the plot, people in this fictional dynasty don’t believe in the historical idea that hair must never be cut, but they do have different aesthetic standards.

Theme: Live gently through the passing years.
