Sect Master, Lure Me In and I'll Kill You Up Close

(I)

The continent's spiritual energy has run dry. Everyone treasures what little remains and refuses to waste even a fraction of it. Qing Xuan is the world's only spiritual-vein spirit.

In his previous life, Qing Xuan had only just taken human form when he was imprisoned in a cave, bound in chains and tortured without end. The man who imprisoned him had a face identical to Heng Yan's.

In the end, he chose to die together with Heng Yan.

Before Qing Xuan was reborn and took human form, he had only one thought: kill Heng Yan.

(II)

Heng Yan is the sect leader of the greatest sect, revered by countless people and seemingly beyond anyone's reach.

He searched far and wide for his beloved, who had taken human form and escaped, but could not find them anywhere in the world.

He failed to find his beloved, but instead attracted a little troublemaker who was always trying to take his life.

The little troublemaker's eyes were full of murderous intent, yet his strength was so pitifully weak he couldn't even get close.

Heng Yan entered his beloved's dream and tried every trick in the book to coax them into meeting him.

But the one who appeared was the little troublemaker who was always trying to kill him.

Heng Yan had no idea where all that hatred came from, so he continued to trick him. "You can't even get close to me, and you're so weak. How could you possibly kill me?"

Qing Xuan fell silent.

Heng Yan said, "Why not come closer? Then you'll have your chance."

Later, Heng Yan let him pin him down, his eyes reddening at the corners as he coaxed softly, "Humiliating me is more shameful than killing me."

Qing Xuan paused.

That... kind of made sense.

1. The seemingly hot-tempered top who is actually completely wrapped around the bottom's finger x the seemingly submissive bottom who is actually in complete control.

2. 1v1, happy ending, mistaken identity of an enemy + coaxing + fake crematorium.

Theme: Love peace, reject illegal mining, haha.
