A Few Things About Dating a Baseball Boy

Kuramochi Yoichi's story:

Not long after the new school year began, a transfer student joined the class. She was looking for a thrill first thing in the morning and jumped off a wall. Luckily, Kuramochi happened to be passing by and caught her, preventing an incident like "transfer student breaks a bone and has to delay starting school."

The trouble was, this transfer student, Koizumi Asumi, seemed to have gotten attached to him.

Kuramochi: Stop teasing me all the time!

Koizumi: I'm not teasing you. I'm serious!

Kanemaru Shinji's story:

My top priority in my second year is to avoid getting teased by my ex-girlfriend again. That's what Kanemaru thought.

Mukai Taiyo's story:

One act of kindness brought him more trouble than he could count.

If he could do it all over again, he definitely wouldn't help Uruki Kikiya back then. Watching his girlfriend beside him, Mukai Taiyo silently took that thought back.

Furuya Satoru's story:

Furuya Satoru was dense and absent-minded. Naturally, he never realized that Wakatsuki Yuzuki had had a crush on him for two years. He also never wondered why he always wanted to be near her.

That is, until he heard that Wakatsuki Yuzuki had gotten very close to a boy.

He understood at once: he was Yuzuki's best friend!

Kirishima Akito & Kirishima Natsuhiko's story:

Suenaga Rika grew up with the Kirishima brothers. The older brother she liked always turned down her confessions, while the younger brother she didn't like was always looking for ways to bother her.

Note: Rika and the Kirishima brothers will all have their moments of push and pull!

Miyuki Kazuya's story:

Kasuga Yuu's first encounter with baseball happened when she was passing through a park and got hit by a baseball. The two boys who had been playing catch ran over to check on her. Until then, Yuu had always buried herself in her studies, and that was how she first learned about baseball.

So, in high school, Yuu joined the baseball team as its manager and worked hard alongside them.

Sadly, after finally making it to the semifinals, they were defeated by Seido, a baseball powerhouse. After that, Kasuga Yuu fell for someone.

Kasuga: Ono-senpai, please go out with me!

Miyuki: Huh? But my name's Miyuki.

Tojo Hideaki's story:

Sakaki Yoyoko heard that a second-year senpai was very popular, gentle, and good at complimenting people.

She thought he must be able to answer her question.

When an unfamiliar girl solemnly asked him to come outside, Tojo Hideaki only wondered, Is she in need of help?

But she asked him seriously, "What does it take to fit in?"

Tojo never quite understood the questions, but he still gave her his answer. Who knew that after that, this underclassman would keep coming to see him?

Note: Short stories for Ace of Diamond and Hakkenden.
