About How I Bloom

Under revision. I'll continue writing once the revisions are done.

Fang Fanlü blossomed.

The seeds hidden in her hair ornaments, the branch bracelet on her wrist, the seeds in her pocket, the plants concealed all over her body: they all sprouted and bloomed.

It started after the final exams. She had been running a fever ever since, but she hadn't paid it any mind. Then her grades came out, and when she saw that she had ranked first in her department, her ability burst out of control.

Fang Fanlü had been a little troubled these past few days. Her ability had erupted while she was at the security team's headquarters, so all her teammates knew she'd been buried under the flowers she'd grown herself (crossed out: flowers her ability had made bloom).

The security team's office had been looking rather lovely lately, with all kinds of potted plants and flowers on the windowsills, desks, and floor. There were even several pots in the bathrooms.

Everyone on the security team had been cheerful lately. Each day, someone would ask, "Good morning! Did you bloom today?"

Note:

1. The heroine has plant-based powers.

2. The story is set at an academy for people with special abilities and has a large supporting cast.

Theme: Choose your own path and don't back down.
