After the Science Five Saved the Tragic Beauty

The premise may change, so save this with caution.

When Xia Yehe was little, he was bound to a "tragic, handsome villain" System. As an adult, he had suffered from autism, been ostracized by his classmates, and lost both parents in a car accident. On top of that, his parents' plan for revenge was exposed, leaving him at risk of being expelled from the police academy.

But he had a secret the System didn't know about.

He could see himself in another world. In that world, both his parents were alive and he had a happy family, but he was born with an antisocial personality. Even after joining the police academy and becoming one of its rising stars, he still couldn't suppress his urge to commit crimes.

So after graduation, when he and two classmates were sent by the public security bureau to infiltrate an organization, he betrayed them without hesitation and joined the organization. In the end, he was destroyed along with it.

One day, Xia Yehe transmigrated into the version of himself from a parallel world, before any of it had begun. He was still a new student who had only been at the police academy for a few days.

Then he discovered that this world's version of himself also had a System. It required "Xia Yehe" to become a popular character in a manga based on this world.

"Xia Yehe" chose the easiest and most thrilling path to ruin: becoming a real bad guy.

Now, after fulfilling his wish, he was heading toward his death. But the popularity System failed its mission because "Xia Yehe" had violated the rule that the Host must become a righteous character. In its fury, it rebooted the timeline and dragged over Xia Yehe from another parallel world.

Xia Yehe was grateful to the popularity System and promised to complete its mission properly.

What he didn't know was that the two classmates betrayed by that "Xia Yehe" had awakened memories of the previous timeline at the same time.

Hiromitsu Morofushi looked at the sunny smile on the boy's face, his feelings complicated. He didn't know how to face Xia Yehe, who had killed him with his own hands in his previous life.

Rei Furuya bit his lip hard. He's using that face to deceive us again!

Xia Yehe had no idea. A certain curly-haired boy waved at him. "Tsuru, want to go get lunch together?"

"Sure!" Xia Yehe happily ran over.

Readers following the manga commented:

[Higi said they look like a husky with a Pomeranian, that's so accurate hahaha]

[The police academy squad is so cute together. That lively, cheerful student from the neighboring class who drops by now and then is great, too.]

When Xia Yehe deliberately got himself kidnapped, quickly deduced the kidnapper's identity, and subdued him, readers said:

[Huh? So this kid actually has brains after all (relieved)]

[The silly puppy evolved into a wolf!]
