I Have Eighteen Tentacles and I Like Gin

[Check out my new story, The System Got Bound to the Wrong One and Turned Out to Be a Real Boozehound. Main pairing: protagonist tops, with Rei Furuya.] I’m a tentacle monster. I have eighteen tentacles. One day, dimensions warped, and I fell into a manga called Detective ☆ Minami. I stood in the middle of the road, utterly lost. The crowd around me was noisy, speaking a language I couldn’t understand. All kinds of pungent smells filled the air. Then I saw a man with long silver hair. He smelled wonderful. I liked him very much. I decided to go with him. I was weak, pitiful, and helpless. I fell in front of him and gazed up at him with tearful eyes. “Excuse me, sir. Could I possibly come home with you?” He kicked me aside. I couldn’t believe it. How could anyone in this world cruelly reject me? It must be because I hadn’t shown him my adorable tentacles! So I showed him my eighteen pitch-black tentacles, covered in obvious barbs and flailing wildly. Sure enough, he never rejected me again. [Thanks to He for drawing the cover!] [Protagonist tops!!! The story starts in first person, then is mainly told in third person.] Here’s an original upcoming story with another tentacle-top protagonist: Boy, Transparent, Tentacles Ye Yiqing likes monsters, but he always sends them to the research institute. Until one day, the institute said, “We’re out of money. Please take this one home.” So he took home an S-rank monster that looked very pitiful. The little monster ate a lot. Ye Yiqing worked from dawn to dusk, earning money and hunting to feed it. He painstakingly raised the shapeless little monster until it grew more than ten tentacles, then the little monster ran away. Ye Yiqing was utterly disappointed and decided never to pick up a stray monster again. - A year later, at his superior’s request, he took a monster with him to run some tests. That night, transparent tentacles filled Ye Yiqing’s dreams, wrapping around him and squeezing him until he could hardly breathe. A faint voice demanded, “You promised to love only me.” That was just a lie I told in the heat of the moment. How could he take it seriously? Of course I’ll always like the next one. Ye Yiqing thought. He woke up and saw transparent tentacles really wrapped around his body. An unfamiliar young man stood before him, then called him, “Master.” “?” Wait, if you’re calling me Master, then listen to me and let go of those tentacles! Stop it, aaah! Theme: Respect one another, and offer your blessings.
