The Demon King Died of Embarrassment After Binding to a Comic System

[The core premise of this upcoming story will remain unchanged, but the specific details will continue to be adjusted. Please refer to the version available when it begins.]

As the ruler who has governed Hell for centuries, the Demon King is cold, merciless, gloomy, cruel, and capricious.

The four kingdoms of Hell all belong to him, and the three great dukes bow before him.

The bright moon lights his way, and the silver stars serve at his command.

The demons rub their hands together, eager to bring blood and fire to the human world and drown Heaven in darkness and shadow under the leadership of Hell's greatest ruler.

But only the Demon King knows that they live inside a comic.

And he is the comic's story supervisor, as well as its final boss. All he has to do is wait for the protagonists to finish the story, and then he can enjoy an extra-long, 999-year vacation.

So whenever the camera's red light comes on,

the Demon King squeezes himself onto the cold throne of dry bones, strikes an imposing pose, and mutters cryptic, incomprehensible lines.

Beep beep. The red light goes out.

The steward of Hell arrives with a steaming, fluffy little cake:

"My Demon King, if you keep getting absorbed in this game of make-believe, all this fat is going to end up on me."

The Demon King drops his pose and stops talking nonsense. He pops up with a smack:

"No!! That's mine, my little cake!"

Meanwhile, in a corner the Demon King hasn't noticed, the camera continues its diligent work.

In the comic's final chapter,

the protagonists overcome countless hardships and finally reach the villainous boss, raising their weapons, complete with dazzling special effects.

Demon King: (eyes closed) I'm ready.

Hero: Could we take a photo to remember this moment, please?

P.S.

1. There is a forum for the comic, but the Demon King doesn't know about it and can't access it.

2. The version of the comic the Demon King sees is a special edition made just for him, full of chances to act cool.

3. The steward can't see the comic, but can see the forum.
