The Sickly Beauty Goes Viral on a Dating Show with Her Mystical Powers

Gu Xiao is a diviner who builds up merit and cultivates by helping people avert disasters and overcome calamities. After dying unexpectedly, she is saved by Merit System 888 and becomes the sickly, beautiful supporting female character in an old-school tragic romance novel.

The original supporting character was sweet and hardworking, but had a particularly frail constitution. She would be out of breath after three steps and cough after three words (for real!).

Then, just to please the original heroine, the original male lead used damaging rumors to incite his fans to cyberbully the supporting character, driving her to the brink until she died in an accident.

Fortunately, Gu Xiao believes in karmic cause and effect. Since she has taken over the girl's body, she decides to avenge her.

Merit System 888: Your body is too weak right now. Let's build up some merit to heal it before we take revenge.

Gu Xiao, who is broke, sees that the original leads are competing for a 3,000,000 prize on a dating show and declares righteously, "Revenge comes first."

"..."

So, at first, the trending topics for the dating show Werewolf Signal were "Gu Xiao, get off the show," "Is Gu Xiao always muttering to herself because she's been cursed?" and "I absolutely refuse to watch as long as Gu Xiao is on!"

Then they became:

# Famous natural beauty seemingly fell and knocked out her nose implant after Gu Xiao read her face

# Famous, clean-living top-tier star refused to let Gu Xiao read his face, then news of his secret child broke

# I'll pay 1 million for a protective talisman drawn by Gu Xiao herself!

# Gu Xiao hasn't appeared on screen for ten minutes! Why aren't they showing her?

Later, everyone wondered why Lu Yan, an actor with no known scandals, and all the other male contestants had fallen for Gu Xiao, who used to be dogged by bad press!

And those who claimed there was something wrong with Gu Xiao turned out to be the ones with the biggest problems themselves!

Gu Xiao definitely has some supernatural abilities! Trusting her is always a safe bet!

Theme: Supporting characters deserve lives of their own, too.
