My OTP Must Get Married

[I talked it over with my editor, and the planned VIP launch date is December 7. There will be a 10,000-word update then, so remember to support me, cuties!] Long, long ago, in a city full of people with supernatural abilities, there were a bespectacled office drone and a guy in a hat. They died, came back to life, and started living in another world. Later, their hometown was on the verge of destruction, and their friends and family were kidnapped. To save their loved ones, they resolutely set off for home. The System required them to play matchmaker, helping the folks back home get married as soon as possible and contribute to society. Having never been in love, the two sought help from a senior of theirs, a kindhearted Russian man. Their senior opened a mysterious app, and from then on, the two entered a whole new world and started shipping Oda and Dazai. To make the ship sail sooner, Hat Guy worked overtime every day so his partner could go out drinking. To get the real deal to start sweetening the pot, Office Drone helped look after the kids so his friend could hurry off on a date. Eventually, the two finally eloped together. They thought their ship had become canon. But then... Hat Guy's partner proposed to him, complete with flowers and the whole works, and said he accepted his feelings. Office Drone dozed off on the couch, only for his friend to suddenly kiss him on the forehead. They felt something was off, so they asked another senior for help: the underhanded boss. The underhanded boss said, "If I knew, I wouldn't have been caught up in rumors with the boss of our rival organization." This is really just a hilarious story of people talking across fandoms. New upcoming story: Mr. A, an Ordinary Yokohama Resident Ace, who lives in Yokohama, has an enviable wealth-related ability. To ensure his safety, Ace paid an exorbitant protection fee to buy himself the status of a Port Mafia executive. He's known as Executive A. To avoid further trouble, he conceals his name and his real ability, posing as a ruthless, arrogant gambler. He is determined to become the least conspicuous executive in Port Mafia history. This wonderful dream is often interrupted by unexpected events. When he was planning to build a charity hospital and inspecting the construction site, a calico cat appeared. Calico Cat: So your real goal is under this land after all. What is it? Can't let go of your grudge from the past, or do you have some other plan? Ace: ? I just want to do something good. When he was donating to an orphanage, he ran into a white-haired, red-eyed lunatic. Lunatic: You sure know how to play your cards, A. What is it? Do you find this child's ability interesting, too? Ace: ?? The orphanage director is an acquaintance of mine. When he went out to buy groceries, he ran into a rich tycoon he'd previously scammed so badly that the man had almost gone broke. Tycoon: As expected of Mr. A. The real answer was hidden in the least conspicuous place all along. Would you be interested in leaving Port Mafia and working for my organization? We can negotiate the salary. Ace: ??? You're way too easy to fool. In the end, Ace couldn't take it anymore. With the "help" of a kindhearted rice ball, he left his current company and prepared to become a low-level government employee. And then... The famous detective from a certain detective agency: Don't deny it. The great detective already knows the whole truth... A former colleague who's always wrapped in bandages: I misjudged you. I look forward to our next battle of wits, A. A former boss: If you're disappointed with the Special Division for Unusual Powers, you can always come back. You're always welcome here. A Hunting Dogs captain: Did you decide from the beginning to sacrifice yourself to save Yokohama? What a shame. No one here is going to thank you for it. Ace: ...I really can't live like this anymore. Being an ordinary passerby is really hard. Theme: Love life and cherish your family.
