Indulge

The day Su Qingyan gave up on pursuing Jiang Boyan, she saw the aloof, straitlaced top student at a bar.

The young man was drunk, his usually solemn, reserved features softened by alcohol. When he looked up, his gaze was tinged with worldly desire, like a divine being fallen into hell.

Other regulars wouldn't leave him alone. Su Qingyan, chatting with someone at a booth across the room, couldn't stand to watch and went over to help him.

Jiang Boyan looked at her, the tear mole at the corner of his reddened eye adding a touch of coldness. "Is he your new target?"

He was drunk, but his words were just as cold and distant as ever, with an added edge of ingratitude.

Su Qingyan frowned at him, remembering their earlier argument. Her tone was impatient. "That's none of your business."

"I'm not drunk." Jiang Boyan pressed his thin lips together and answered indifferently. "And I don't need you to look after me."

Su Qingyan: "..."

Then move aside and stop blocking the way.
