[Currently serializing: Temporary Pheromone Partner [ABO]]
A younger boy who used to live next door comes to stay at Su Yang's house for a while.
He hasn't differentiated yet.
On the first day he moved in, Alpha Su Yang was blunt with him: "Don't use anything in the fridge without asking."
Worried he'd misunderstand, Su Yang made sure to explain, "There's Alpha suppressants in there."
The boy was sweet and sensible, and listened very carefully to everything she said.
At home, he always volunteered to do the chores, looking perfectly willing to work without complaint. Even when she misunderstood him, he didn't get angry. Feeling guilty, Su Yang took the initiative and gave him a new pair of shoes.
She never expected that, not long after she gave them to him, the usually quiet and well-behaved boy would get into a fight with a classmate and have his parents called in.
Su Yang went in his family's place.
When she arrived, the boy was sitting silently in the office. He didn't say a word, so Su Yang asked him, "Why did you get into a fight?"
He didn't answer. He lowered his head, his gaze full of sadness.
On the way home, the boy, who'd been silent all along, turned his eyes toward her and complained in a soft, wounded voice.
"Sis."
"He got my shoes dirty."
They were a gift from his sister, and he loved them so, so much.
They were so special that he couldn't even bring himself to wear them.

An Alpha's heat came on fast and hard. Su Yang hadn't predicted it accurately, and ended up suffering at home for nothing.
Her hormones surged without warning. Gasping, she reached for the suppressants by her bed, only to find nothing there.
She'd used up the ones in the cabinet last time and hadn't had a chance to restock. The remaining ones were frozen in the fridge.
She'd also forgotten to shut the door properly, and the younger boy staying with them came over when he heard her.
Holding on to the last of her awareness, Su Yang told him what was happening and ordered him to hurry back to his room and lock the door.
Who would have thought that the usually sweet and sensible boy would suddenly rebel for once?
He said, "Sis, I don't want to leave."
Then he shut the door, locking them both inside the room.
Su Yang didn't know that the last lifeline in the fridge had long since been emptied by the scheming boy, who was not at all what he seemed.
In this house, he was the only antidote.
Here's a preview of my upcoming novel, After Becoming the Number One Powerhouse Villain [ABO]. If you like it, please add it to your favorites O3O
[Third-person narration]
In an ABO world, I transmigrated into a book as a duplicitous, obsessive villain.
The protagonist is an Omega with the highest-grade pheromones in the book. Any Alpha who smells his pheromones will slam into a wall for him.
To pursue his dream, this tragic Omega, born in an impoverished and backward district, hides his Omega identity and enrolls in the Federation's First Military Academy.
The first love interest is a rich young man from a top Alpha family. Handsome and wealthy, he's arrogant and unruly, and the protagonist's roommate. The second is the commander of the Federation's First Legion, the military academy's training unit: a high-ranking, powerful, aloof and stern man. The third is a star pirate who has amassed a fortune under a hidden identity. For now, he's an ordinary school doctor at the academy, with a gentle and easygoing public persona.
As the villain, I repeatedly oppose the protagonist. On top of trying to beat him in class every day, I squeeze my way into the dorm room he shares with his roommates, follow him to the infirmary when he's injured, steal his moments in the spotlight by outperforming him during legion training, and maliciously sabotage his romantic pairings. I'm a villain through and through.
Of course, in other people's eyes, I'm always the protagonist's good friend.
At the academy, I diligently carry out my villainous duties. Outside the academy, I also have plenty of part-time jobs.
The games in this world are incredibly realistic. By chance, I became a gaming streamer.
Mecha combat, battlefield duels, fighting the Zerg: that's what viewers love to watch. I made quite a bit of money from it, and several top-ranking fans sent me donations.
One day, during a simulated legion exercise, the app was opened.
The aloof legion commander introduced it as a professional military simulation app with many excellent case studies, some of which had even been applied on the current battlefield.
In the most prominent spot at the top of the rankings, I saw my username: Villain Big Boss.
Aloof Legion Commander: "The villain's combat model has been successfully applied on the battlefield. The Federation awarded him the StarNet Warrior Medal." (I thought that was a gaming award.)
Arrogant Roommate: "He really is a little better than me. I follow him and support him." (I had no idea one of my top donors was him.)
Gentle School Doctor: "Students who haven't differentiated yet should be careful about how long they use their mental power in combat." (Of course I wouldn't pay attention to that, since I don't have pheromones.)
Protagonist: "The villain has always been a good person." (Sigh, my friend still has no idea how evil the villain really is.)
This might well be the villain's greatest moment in the spotlight, and I was mortified.
Overcome with excitement, I streamed continuously for three days. It's easy to get carried away while gaming, and by the time I came to my senses, I was already feeling a little dazed.
My good friend, the protagonist, found me just as I was about to lose consciousness.
He smelled so good that I couldn't help wanting to rub against him.
My friend usually gives me anything I ask for, but this time he didn't. He stared at the back of my neck and asked, "Do you know who I am?"
That cool, deep fragrance grew stronger, mingling with the scent of wine. I was a little tipsy and called his name.
Then he carried me back to bed.
When I woke up the next morning, I was in my friend's arms. The strong scent of Alpha pheromones clung to me, and my legs were especially sore.
I stared at the ceiling, still a little dazed.
I pulled free of the protagonist's arms, frowned, and asked him, "Who are you, really?"
He held me tight, his expression still gentle. Lowering his eyes, he kissed my fingertip. "Your husband."
Me: "..."
