Countless uncanny realms, Yin veins, and strange creatures appear in every corner of the world. The Supernatural Association can barely keep up the appearance of peace.
Lu Yuze, the only person to have had an in-depth exchange with the Yin vein responsible for the uncanny revival, is forced to begin his 996 overtime journey.

Roommate No. 2: A smooth-talking ladies' man and everyone's pal, but actually a lay disciple of the Maoshan sect who wears Taoist robes. He catches ghosts with Maoshan arts as easily as catching chickens.
Roommate No. 3: The only seemingly normal, gloomy top student, but actually a member of a fishing and mountain-hiking club. He's a human radar and never gets lost.
Roommate No. 4: A rich playboy who buys his way through school and coasts on his credentials, but is an inheritor of the Six Lines divination arts. His heavenly eyes can see through Yin and Yang.
Then there's the Miaojiang Gu practitioner who keeps talking about being a village head, the northwestern herdsman who worries about his family's sheep every day, and the Xiangxi practitioner who has a screw loose and spasms while raising the dead...
Lu Yuze suffers a second emotional blow: ??? What?!
