System 004, an unlucky agent from the World Oversight Bureau, had barely returned from a work trip when a junior asked it to take on a mission. The junior was a game-management System, and the world it was responsible for, T055, was on the brink of destruction.
To prevent the world from ending, the completely unqualified 004 racked its brains and finally came up with a plan: its Host would create a character-collecting role-playing game and win the affection of as many higher-dimensional players as possible. The affection points would be used to save the world.
As a desperate System, 004 watched for a long time before finally choosing Cassius, an unremarkable student at the Kingdom's Magic Academy who was writing a play.
Since he can write plays, making a game should be... no problem, right?
The gentle, golden-haired young man glanced at it and graciously agreed to 004's request. "If it's to save the world... all right."
But 004 never expected that its chosen Host would be hiding one incredible secret identity after another!
Damn it, I bound myself to an old-timer!

004: Host, Host! First, we need to choose a protagonist for the story...
Cassius, without looking up: Those two dead-last siblings. They're from the Hero's Village, with red hair and cheerful, optimistic personalities. They've got every protagonist buff imaginable.
004: But they might not have many fantastical adventures... And aren't you playing favorites a little too much?!
Then 004 watched as the red-haired siblings really did pull the Hero's Sword from the stone and set off on an epic adventure, pursued by the Church.

004: Host, Host! Our player forum is more curious than ever about the merfolk. We could introduce a merfolk character and rake in affection points, but they've been living in seclusion in the deep sea for ages...
Cassius: That's fine. I'm close with the merfolk queen. I know where they are.
004: Uh, buddy, unless I'm mistaken, the merfolk have been in seclusion for 5,000 years...

Having accepted that its Host could arrange fate itself, 004 stopped struggling. Host, Host! We've already introduced characters from every race. What can we release next to get the player forum talking again?
Cassius smiled. Didn't we say in the first banner, "You can invite your beloved him, her, it, or them to adventure with you"? We've already released the first three. It's time to...
Then 004 stared in shock as its Host went to the long-vanished Land of the Gods, tapped his staff, and called forth the gods who were supposed to have all perished!
004: What the hell.
Why does this Host seem to know the world it's in charge of better than it does?! Why does he know so many people?! Isn't he an old-timer who transmigrated here?!
Cassius: "Huh? I did transmigrate here, but that was 10,000 years ago. As for why I know so many people..."
Cassius smiled modestly. "It's nothing worth mentioning. After all, I..."
Cassius is the greatest mage on this continent. He is a miracle in his own right, bringing hope and dreams of life to the countless beings struggling through the Age of Chaos.
Is that all?
No.
He is also the true master of this continent, the true... creator of countless planes and races.
Player forum:
At first: [Who's this random extra? Why does he keep showing up at the worst times?]
Later: [Holy crap, this is Cassius! The greatest mage in history! No wonder he always looks at the protagonist like a doting father!]
[Wait, even for Cassius, this is a little much, right? How does he know so many people? The leaders of every race bow to him, and the dead gods came back to life because of him... Holy crap, even the Supreme God and the world's consciousness are connected to him!]
[And he's been with us every single day for seven versions! Even the hero protagonist's companions haven't been around for seven versions! He's the number-one male love interest!]
[I get it now! This whole world is one giant Cassius! When is this guy, who's all over the story and main plot, getting added to the banner?!]
[I'm pulling until I get him!!!]
The male lead is ridiculously powerful, even more so than the blurb lets on. He's the poster boy for a chaotic family, but his power comes at a price. He has three ridiculously powerful secret identities. He's a master of disguises.
My personal tastes: a beautiful, tragic, strong-yet-frail, universally adored male lead. He has platinum-blond hair, and his eyes change color depending on the element of magic he uses. Normally, they're a dreamy pinkish blue.
A story about a System that jumps ship and latches onto a powerhouse, binding itself to a max-level big shot who's the whole continent's beloved, and the two of them steamrolling everyone across the world.
