The King of Hell Opens an Inn (3)

The Yama Inn is a special place. Not only do murders happen there all the time, but supernatural incidents are also a regular occurrence. The police and forensic examiners have become frequent visitors. By all rights, it should have been shut down a hundred times over, but instead it has become an online sensation and a must-visit destination for young people eager to satisfy their curiosity. Especially since a Hell Experience Center has opened right across the street.

They say the Hell Experience Center really has eighteen levels. Everyone who goes in walks in upright and comes out flat on their back. An ambulance is always waiting outside right on schedule, and the people who emerge are often sobbing and telling everyone they meet, "From now on, I'll be a good person!"

The Yama Inn is open during the day, while Hell opens its doors at night. And so the story begins:

The first story: Borrowed Womb

The second story: Terrifying Doll

The third story: Bad Seed

The fourth story: Skin of Beauty

Inn staff:

One owner: Yan Jiujun (Lord Yan), handsome but taciturn;

One accountant: Pan Gu'an (Judge), always smiling at people, though it's all smiles and no warmth;

Two servers: Niu Yingjun and Ma Dashuai (Ox-Head and Horse-Face);

One chef: Meng Meili (Meng Po), whose signature dish is Meng Po's Soup;

Two guards: Hei Rumo and Bai Ruyun (Black and White Impermanence).

The inn's artificial pond is called the River of Forgetfulness;

The arched bridge connecting the east and west wings is called the Bridge of Helplessness;

The red flowers on either side of the pond are called flowers of the other shore.

The story takes place at the Yama Inn...

Theme: Good is rewarded with good, and evil with evil.
