I Became a Dad in the Apocalypse

My next book is The Dramatic Life of a Lazy Zombie. Add it to your favorites if you like the premise.

Yun Huacen died at eighteen. The good news was that he was reborn, with all of the original owner's memories. The bad news was that he had been reborn into the apocalypse, with only three years left to live at most.

The original owner was a medical genius and a complete lunatic. To research the zombie virus, he had experimented on living people, and in the end, he died at the hands of those very "lab rats."

Looking at the children locked in metal cages, Yun Huacen called the original owner a monster. Luckily, there was still time to make things right. To avoid repeating the same mistakes, he had no choice but to start raising kids.

As time passed, not only did his "kids" grow in number, but their species became more and more varied. There were humans, animals, plants, you name it. While everyone else in the apocalypse worried about food, he worried about having fish, meat, and vegetables every day.

Yun Huacen thought he could go on living peacefully like this, but then he noticed the way the kids around him looked at him had changed. Their gazes were so passionate that he could hardly handle it.

Yun Huacen trembled: We can discuss age and gender, but isn't crossing species taking things a little too far?

Blurb for The Dramatic Life of a Lazy Zombie:

Lan Ziyin had two great loves in life: eating and sleeping. Through a twist of fate, he became a zombie and could only eat raw flesh and drink blood. Being forced to give up food, he spent a fortune building himself a luxurious tomb, where he slept for a thousand years. Then two tomb raiders woke him up, and to make matters worse, he got bound to some kind of wage slave System. To break free, he had to guide eighty-one souls to the afterlife.

Lan Ziyin bared his teeth fiercely. "I'm a zombie, and you want me to guide souls? Believe me, I'll eat you!"

System: "You can eat whatever you like while on a mission."

Lan Ziyin swallowed, his mind already filled with a list of dishes.

Though Lan Ziyin was a lazy slacker among zombies, he still had a way to protect himself. Whoever's blood he drank, he could take their form and gain all of their memories. And so his dramatic life began... No, his journey of guiding souls began. As the missions went on, Lan Ziyin discovered that the System was actually a super handsome guy with broad shoulders, a narrow waist, and long legs. He also discovered that he was gay, and had acquired a new hobby: "eating" people.

System: "Now that the mission is over, what are you going to do?"

Lan Ziyin: "Eat my way around the world."

System: "And what about me?"

Lan Ziyin: "Have a nice trip."

The System gritted his teeth. "So you're going to use me up and leave with your pants on?"

Lan Ziyin: "Can't... I?"
