The Human Toddler Becomes the Beloved of the Demon Clan

In the age after the demons, demonkind can no longer bear offspring. Instead, they must grow demon fruits in the Demon Lotus Pond. After three years of nurturing, a demon fruit becomes a flower, and when it blooms, a little demon is born.

After years of waiting, Mo Duo, a black bear demon, and Jin Wu, a sky-eagle demon, were finally about to welcome their first little demon. Mo Duo was sure their baby would be incredibly strong, able to slap other little demons dead with a single blow. Jin Wu was sure their baby would have enormous wings and fly a thousand miles in a day, leaving other little demons unable to even see its tail.

As Mo Duo and Jin Wu watched the other demon flowers bloom, Mo Duo scoffed. "That little tiger cub has such tiny paws. It obviously has no strength."

Jin Wu nodded. "And look at that little sparrow cub. I could die laughing. Its wings are only as big as a hand. What's the use of that?"

The little demons in the pond cried in droves, while the new demon parents wanted nothing more than to tear Mo Duo and Jin Wu apart.

At last, the final moment arrived. Mo Duo and Jin Wu's demon flower bloomed, and they saw the little demon they had been eagerly awaiting. But suddenly, the others burst into laughter.

[Hahaha! I've never seen such an ugly little demon. The only hair on its whole body is a tiny bit on its head. It'll freeze to death when winter comes.]

[Look at its claws. It can't even pry open a demon flower. It has no strength at all. It couldn't even crush a tiny ant.]

[Hahaha, a weakling like that will end up as our cubs' dinner someday.]

Mo Duo and Jin Wu sheepishly took their hairless little demon home. The cub was so ugly it hurt their eyes. It had barely any hair and was a picky eater. It wouldn't eat raw meat, and when they tried to teach it to crawl, it only crawled on its two hind legs, slowly and awkwardly.

What's more, it kept insisting that it was human, not a demon. What a fool! There was no such species as a "human demon" in this world!

Though the little demon lacked magical power, she was clever, and before they knew it, she had become the richest demon in the land.

A demon hair salon, a demon beauty shop, a demon restaurant. What other businesses could she open? The little demon shook her head. No rush. She'd plan it all out slowly...
