[Western Crossover] The Wandering Bird

Rebirth? Transmigration? I never expected a trope that was popular a few years ago to suddenly happen to me. Your name is Ash Brown, an utterly ordinary person with extraordinary luck... Well, maybe not that ordinary. Still, you don't have Gotham's top-tier resources, and you're not rich by default. But... you do have a dad with all those resources, even if he isn't your biological father. That's right, you've proudly become a Batkid. You're currently second in line in the Wayne family, but you're doing the job of the original third kid. And that's not all. Lex, the CEO over in Metropolis, who occasionally seems to be a little off his rocker, also wants to recruit you to work for him. Think that's the end of it? No... You also have several gigs beyond the Source Wall, all waiting for you to pull off some wild stunts. Click to see how a 911 worker survives in another world (not really). [Warnings] This story contains a Superman/Batman pairing and out-of-character characterizations, and may not be for Joker fans, so proceed with caution. [Old Version] A short story told in the second person, where readers decide the protagonist's fate. [Please Note] Some plot points have bugs, but they don't significantly affect the reading experience. Please assume this takes place in an unknown parallel universe. The plot only follows some major events, and the timeline is a mess. Theme: How long can “you” survive?
