Jason Todd died.
That always happens in every multiverse. It is inevitable in every world with a Batman.
It is the one ending of his that never changes, and the beginning of every story.
But this Jason's fate took a slightly different turn.
The second Robin died as miserably as all the other versions of his sixteen-year-old self. While he lay in his coffin, enjoying what little peace he could find and waiting for Superboy-Prime to break through the walls of reality and rewrite most of the established facts of the multiverse, bringing him back to life, something went wrong.
The Void invaded this universe.
The Void's arrival brought Void Matter and entropy beasts from beyond this world. The will of the Void would choose an agent to exercise its right to hunt in this realm.
Naturally, Jason was chosen.
The power that breaks the walls of reality can only rewrite established facts in a crude, heavy-handed way. So most Jasons spend some time as mindless corpses, until Talia appears and helps them regain their sanity.
But the Void has always been generous to those it favors.
So Jason's shattered body, blown apart by the Joker, was carefully repaired and rebuilt. He climbed out of his grave fully conscious, driven by a new mission and an overwhelming fury for revenge, transformed into the Void's Wild Hunt.
With bones of the dead as his foundation and metal for his flesh and blood, he rebuilt his body, ascended into a machine, erased the threads of fate, and gazed into the colors of the stars...
And brought along a bunch of the most difficult kids in the world.
His resurrection was the greatest accident this world had ever seen. But surrounded by problem children, Jason deeply regretted not preventing this damnable accident when he'd had the chance.
A story about a half-silicon, half-carbon cyberpunk Red Hood who saves the world while rescuing problem children. There are no tragedies in this story.
Includes Marvel, DC, and references to some horror movies, games, and more.
Warnings:
Out of character, lots of original worldbuilding, author opinions and personal takes on various characters, my version of the Arkham Knight with black hair, white streaks, and blue-green eyes, illogical writing, written for my own enjoyment, lots of rambling, plenty of plot beyond the outline (do I even have an outline?), no backlog, irregular updates, and sudden ideas turned into stories, so it may not be paywalled and may also be abandoned at any time.
Read at your own risk.
Theme: Worse than coming back from the dead is becoming guardian to a bunch of problem children.
It's quite true that most people don't actually have any malicious intentions, but they are unwilling to take possible risks for someone they don't know well. If I help her, what if I will be retaliated against? What if we get bullied together? What if it brings obstacles to my life? There's nothing I can do anyway... So I'll just pretend not to see it. I just have this worry.
Ah, I have fallen into the author's trap again. I don't know when my wife will be able to bury it.
Hahahahahaha, this is Dick's indomitable killing, you can attack or receive it. Xiaojie is so big, mostly because he is passive or passive (even if he is a 200-pound strong man)
Bucket, a heartbreakingly straight man
Madam, please spread some dirt on the great Jason next door. The children are already waiting for it.
Will there be a follow-up to the amazing Jason Todd? I'm in tears.
Jason, single by strength Is this copy going to be finished? I want to create a new character! (Excited
Carrie is like a little dog, cute... In this chapter, I felt Jason's handsomeness coming towards me!
Good looking. . . The author and I live longer than the series. . .
There is only such a little bit, and we have fallen into another pit. When will we sprinkle some soil? Jay Bird is so handsome! Although he is a straight man, I think Jie Niao is more fragrant.
