Can Players Have Batman? [Western Crossover]

This story switches between second and third person. A short work written for fun. [Complete, Happy Ending] 1. You bought a game called Multiverse: Origin. On your first playthrough, you became Superman, got so bored that you started destroying the world, and were killed. On your second playthrough, you destroyed the world right away, and were killed. On your nth playthrough, you realized that Batman was the one killing you every time, and you grew interested in him. You decided to get revenge. You were going to make Batman pay! 2. You discovered that Batman really did hate Superman. You worked hard to disguise yourself and win his favor. At last, you locked him inside the Fortress of Solitude. Huh? How did things take an 18+ turn? 3. You really liked Batman, and you decided to be with him forever. But Batman was so hard to handle that you had to lay your plans carefully, without making him suspicious. You would make him love Clark, love Kal, love you. Then you would show your claws, make him suffer, make him lose his way, make him hurt you, and most importantly, make him love you. You wanted him to love the real you. You were each other's lock, and the key to a Pandora's box that must never be opened. 4. "I really did love you, Clark..." "I believed in the beautiful future you promised us. I dreamed of that shining future, full of hope." "But now I know it was nothing but an empty lie." --The Devastator Note: A story about a player who becomes an evil Superman, and a twisted love. I was so captivated by the Devastator that I decided to write this. Unless something unexpected happens, this will be a short story. ---Coming Soon--- Pre-orders are open for my new story. It is expected to begin in October or November 2026. You're welcome to check it out! [Western Crossover] Being a Bat-Dad, Starting in Gotham What do you do when you're bound to a villain template, but you're in DC? Vincent: "Six." 01. My name is Vincent. I currently work for the Court of Owls in Gotham City, Uncle Sam's home in the Global Village. You can use this address to send me packages. Oh, and don't call me Vincent in Gotham. Call me Thomas. Thomas Wayne is my secret identity in Gotham. The Waynes were killed by muggers in an alley, and young Bruce lost his parents. The Court of Owls took one look and said, "Hey, I've got an idea." (pointing finger.jpg) I went along with it. After all, I need the Court to fund my retirement. What are you looking at, young man? Paying into your pension is important! Bruce may have lost his parents, but he's still got me! I can be the guiding force in his life! (in that tone) 02. In Bruce Wayne's memories, his father was kind after losing his memory. He would tell Bruce stories about Kryptonians, the Green Lantern Corps, Martians, and the multiverse. After his mother died, Thomas was consumed by grief and spent years wandering. Maybe seeing each other would only bring them pain. The birthday gifts he sent every year were the only sign that he was still alive. It wasn't until Bruce became Batman and met the Justice League that he found out those stories were actually true? After years of causing trouble and becoming wanted by all kinds of factions, Mr. "Vincent" Thomas returned to Gotham to visit family. Seeing Batman's huge family, he fell silent. Vincent trembled. "Am I going to be a grandpa too?" Bruce: "Yep." 03. "Friends, the heroes' performance has begun." "Prosperity and corruption are both on display." Batman helped the injured Superman to his feet and looked up with difficulty at Vincent, who was knocking superheroes out one by one. Dressed in a suit, Vincent gave a slight bow. "Now then, let me see the brilliance of human nature." Superman: "Uh, Batman, is that your dad up there?" Superman hesitated. "Is he going to be a villain too?" Batman: "Yes."
