Gin x Porto
A short practice romance about dating Gin.
When Wan Hua woke up, the whole world had changed, and it seemed his character settings had been rewritten, too.
His status as a big shot on the black side was gone, the organization he'd worked so hard to obtain was gone, and so was the Sentinel he'd arranged to bond with. All that remained was a body so fragile it could crumble, the identity of a poor little thing whose parents were both dead, and memories of his past life that had suddenly awakened.
...And a villa and a huge bank balance.
After confirming that everyone he cared about was doing fine, apart from a few strange changes, Wan Hua, who had worked hard for half his life, decisively gave up on contacting the amnesiacs. He looked at his villa and his savings, and happily decided to retire at home and do nothing.
Then he discovered that the blond, dark-skinned male housekeeper at his villa in Beika was named Bourbon.
Wan Hua: ...
The part-time chef who cooked for him every day had beautiful blue eyes, and was named Scotch.
Wan Hua: …
Then he found a silver-haired man with double amnesia in his room. His name was Gin, and he had once been Wan Hua's subordinate, junior, and Sentinel.
Wan Hua: …
Wan Hua: Even so, after my junior kept me hidden away in his mansion, am I supposed to turn around and hide him away now?

Gin always felt that something was off about this world, but he couldn't tell what.
He always felt he was waiting for something, yet also felt he was destined to wait for nothing.
Until one day, badly injured and with his memory gone, he escaped by sheer instinct to a villa that seemed familiar, where the owner kept him hidden away in his mansion.
Kurosawa: ...Something feels off, but also somehow right.
It wasn't until his memories returned that he realized the villa's original owner seemed to have been himself.
Gin, eyes shaking in shock: Wait, have my memories not fully come back? Could it be that I'm the one who kept myself hidden away?

·Reading Guide·
#An alternate-universe version of Wan Hua's "The Blades of This World Have Arrived," but not a sequel. It has some crossovers with the original and fills in some of the logic, with plot changes where needed. You can read it on its own.
#Yes, I'm still trying to write a romance, but readers who've read my earlier works should have some idea of how I handle romance...?
#Beautiful, strong, and tragic. Not sure how much, but there will definitely be angst, depending on the situation.
#Check the blurb for content warnings. This is a hodgepodge.
#Detective Conan only, daily-life style, probably?
Theme: Someone will love you.
