A Monster's Guide to Winning Back His Wife

A story about an unfortunate or fortunate woman being pursued by monsters. The monsters may be dark and obsessive, cold and mad, or untamed and wild... But their love burns fiercely. ---- Ship Sacrifice [Completed] ---- She was a ship's doctor disguised as a man. After she fell overboard, her job and her life both came to an end. Then she returned to three days earlier. It seemed Heaven had given her another chance, but... A fishy stench seeped into every corner, and the reddish water stains on the deck could never be cleaned away. The crew realized that a sea monster had its eye on the ship. Until it took the sacrifice it wanted, no one could escape these cursed three days. ---- Hound [Completed] ---- While studying abroad, she was targeted by a stalker. One night, she received a message from an unknown number: Look outside. She saw the stalker's ragged, bloodstained clothes hanging from a bush by the road. The next morning, her fingers were slightly damp, the bite marks still there, and the fresh meat in her fridge had vanished. There seemed to be a dog in her home, fiercely loyal to its owner but vicious beyond measure. ---- Ghost Husband [Completed] ---- She wore black gauze as she bid farewell to her new husband in the cemetery. The man had been frail when alive, and to her, this marriage had seemed more like a well-paid end-of-life care job. On the night of the funeral, he returned. Freed from the constraints of his body, he could finally carry out all the thoughts he'd been unable to act on when it came to his wife. ---- Cave Bride ---- After falling into a cave and being rescued, she found snake scales appearing on her skin. The old people said she was the bride chosen by the mountain god. The villagers guarded her closely, afraid she'd escape. In truth, after every sunset, a chilly "sss" would wrap around her and whisper words of love in her ear. There was no escape for her anymore. Reader's Guide: The male leads, at least in their human forms, are all very handsome, devoted and utterly lovestruck. The male leads' sexual history is not necessarily clean. There may be elements of coercive pursuit, but the couples will definitely end up mutually in love with happy endings. A short-story collection. The worlds are connected but set in different eras, and the stories aren't related to one another. The order is undecided and depends on inspiration. Theme: Keep hope in your heart even when you are in desperate straits
