When the Author Keeps Transmigrating Between Worlds

As an author, he adored handsome, charming, captivating fictional characters. He wasn't some old-school otaku, nor was he particularly into anime. So what? Was anyone going to stop him from liking them?

But his love for them wasn't just something he talked about.

For their sake, he became a righteous avenger of the night, blasting keyboard warriors with a few screws loose.

By day, he was a diligent author, typing away at his stories. In the evenings, he was an artist who drew fanfiction.

Then one day, the life he loved, all his joy and affection, was shattered.

He transmigrated into the world of the fictional characters he loved. What could be more horrifying? He'd said he loved them only as an observer, watching them and loving them from afar, not taking over their bodies! What was he supposed to do when faced with the people he loved?! Feelings of loathing and disgust churned and roiled in his mind and chest.

Get away!!

Don't come near me, don't come near me! he begged.

At first, his shoddy disguise was exposed. It was as if everyone knew he wasn't himself, and they began looking at him with pity and sympathy.

Why? Why did they have to approach him and get close to him by showing concern and tending to his feelings?!

And yet, somehow, things seemed different. They looked at him as though he was himself, and yet not.

Characters he inhabits:

"Armed Detective Dazai"

"Gojo Satoru"

"Amuro Toru"

"Edogawa Ranpo"

"Fushiguro Megumi"

"Gin"
