No One in the Entertainment Industry Believes We're Really Together

Su Qing x Jiang Shen

A reckless, shameless straight man x a rugged artist

Su Qing is a notorious, carefree straight-man top-tier star. He loves sneakers and motorcycles, and his favorite celebrity is a member of a girl group.

Jiang Shen is a famously rugged, straight-man movie star. He loves lifting weights and boxing, and can get his body fat down to single digits for a film.

One day, Su Qing and Jiang Shen announced that they would star in a boys' love adaptation.

Fans across the internet laughed: How could two straight men act in a BL drama?

But whether you're a top-tier star or a movie star, once you're in a BL drama, you're expected to play up the chemistry!

The BL drama was a huge success as soon as it aired.

But outside the context of the show itself, hardly anyone shipped them. Everyone knew the two were straight.

One night, Su Qing was livestreaming when Jiang Shen walked right into his room without even knocking.

The fans were dying of laughter: Who gets it, guys? Watching two straight men try to play up their chemistry is so funny.

During promotions for their new drama, Su Qing and Jiang Shen showed up at a press conference holding hands.

Fans sent sweating bean-faced emojis: Which straight idiot came up with this painfully awkward way of playing up their chemistry?

A paparazzo caught Su Qing and Jiang Shen kissing on the street.

The fans couldn't even be bothered to repost it: All right, all right, we can see you're really trying to sell it, but there's no need.

Until one day, Jiang Shen and Su Qing posted their wedding photos together.

The fans were horrified: Guys, you can't fake official documents! You'll get arrested for that! There's really no need to go this far to sell the pairing.

@Su Qing: Who said we were playing up our chemistry?

@Jiang Shen: We really got married. Thanks.
