Days of Learning to Rebel with My Sisters

The Forbidden City was a stagnant pool where countless beautiful women met untimely ends.

The Empress, Shen, and the Noble Consort, Yan, fought constantly in the palace. One day, while worshipping at a temple, each prayed in her heart for a place where she could be free of all ties and kill her enemy.

Their wish came true.

On a major road, two people in formal gowns and covered in jewels fought until kindhearted passersby pulled them apart.

After slowly making sense of the new world, Shen Jinning and Yan Yiren began to worry about how to make a living.

They looked for an apartment together, found jobs together, went to the hospital together, and studied together.

The new era burned away their rotten beliefs like a blazing fire.

They learned that women could cut their hair short, go to school, work outside the home, and even choose not to marry. They didn't need men to survive.

Shen Jinning was determined to make a name for herself and give both herself and Yan Yiren a better life. She would prove that no one could control her life.

Yan Yiren: "I want to work as a security guard at the entrance to our neighborhood!"

Shen Jinning: "?"

The false sisterly terms they had used for each other before they transmigrated had, at some point, become sincere.

Especially after they returned home one day and discovered that a hit TV drama based on a novel bore a striking resemblance to their experiences.

The emperor had never truly loved anyone. He simply enjoyed seeing his consorts fight over him.

Just when they thought they would rely on each other and spend the rest of their lives together, they transmigrated back.

In the imperial garden, the palace maids and eunuchs trembled, expecting a great battle. Instead, the Empress and the Noble Consort clasped hands and gazed at each other through their tears.

Shen Jinning: "Yiren, shall we..."

Yan Yiren answered at once: "That's exactly what I was thinking. Let's overthrow him!"
