The Years I Was Forced to Become a Savior

[The crossover novel Their Journey Around the World is complete, and the new novel Gotham Life in Practice is now underway. Come check them out, cuties!]

Also known as Get Out of My Way, I'm Trying to Eat, Everywhere I Look Is Delicious, and I Came Back from an Infinite World and Found I No Longer Fit into the Real World

Blurb One:

At first, the weather turned strange, swinging between hot and cold. A single day could hold all four seasons.

Then, a blood-red full moon suddenly rose in the sky. The authorities explained that it was a rare astronomical phenomenon.

Later, terrifying monsters appeared all over the world. They fenced off hunting grounds and slaughtered people like lambs.

Eventually, people understood that the blood moon was the prelude to the monsters extending their claws toward humanity. They had already arrived in the human world, hiding in the shadows like the most seasoned hunters, quietly watching their prey and patiently waiting for the right moment.

Amid pools of crimson blood and the shadow of death, the survivors brought back this message: they had seen them...

A spider witch in a pure white wedding dress descended from the sky, holding a staff. Blue flames and silvery spider silk wove a deadly feast for the eerie monsters;

A snake-tailed beauty, impossible to tell as male or female, laughed and spread the resplendent wings behind her, like stars falling from the heavens. A gale tore through the earth, and blazing fire consumed the darkness;

A black-robed figure hidden in the night raised a massive scythe, like the Grim Reaper from hell. White-clad followers and a storm of blade-light burst through the enemies surging in from every direction.

They watched humanity in silence, opening a path through despair and darkness.

They silently kept their eyes on humanity, giving people precious respite and a chance amid slaughter and chaos.

They arrived with a thunderous flourish and departed without a sound, like the rising and falling wind. No one knew where they came from or where they went.

People called them:

The Wardens.

They were humanity's saviors.

And behind them was only one shadow...

Wei Yue, a player in Endless Reincarnation and one of its survivors: "You might not believe me, but at first I just wanted to coast through life. Now I just want to eat in peace."

Don't come near me. It won't work out. JPG

Blurb Two:

Years later, Wei Yue, whose emotionless act has spectacularly backfired: I take it all back!

Note: A secret-identity novel. She only reveals her identity to the one she loves, who has a secret identity too >W=
