They Say I'm an Immortal Lord

Before the apocalypse arrived, Sheng Wu had just graduated and only wanted to find a decent job close to home. He never imagined that one day he would become the second-in-command of a major base.

At the moment of his death, after taking out several of the enemy's elite fighters, Sheng Wu thought, "That was worth it. I made a killing." He never imagined that a dead man like him would ever open his eyes again.

...But when he opened them and found that the world had changed, he wondered if maybe he'd opened them the wrong way.

The only thing worth celebrating was that he had another chance at life.

As for what wasn't worth celebrating... well, there was plenty!

First, his direct superior, the emperor, looked at him in a very strange way. He'd already wondered several times whether he was some kind of heartless playboy.

Second, he wasn't good at political scheming and just wanted to coast through life, but for some reason his superior not only refused to take away his military authority, he kept finding openings to pile all sorts of work on him! Whenever outsiders congratulated him on the emperor's favor, all he wanted to do was roll his eyes!

And last, but most importantly...

Sheng Wu roared in fury: "Who the hell is an immortal lord!? The one who lives on the moon is Chang'e! Get away! Stop worshipping me!!"

Theme: Life is full of setbacks. Don't give up; keep moving forward.
