Harry Potter: Infinite Things

Updates will resume slowly and irregularly. How often I update depends on how busy I am in real life, QAQ. Blurb: Moe comes from an ancient German wizarding family, and his maternal grandmother is famous in Britain. That’s what everyone says, anyway. He has no memory of any of it. He has a feeling that he’s been alive for a very, very long time, but that doesn’t matter to him. Rather than obsess over the past, he’d rather enjoy his school days at Hogwarts. ...He just has no idea why, little by little, everyone in his house has started doing whatever his gentle friend tells them to. He scared you with a snake? No way. Even the strictest professor thinks Tom is easy to get along with. And you were scared by that? You’re such wimps! 1. Student-era Dark Lord as the seme x a silly, sweet, dark-minded uke with an unconventional way of thinking. Both are in Slytherin. HE. Sweet and fluffy, no angst. 2. The protagonist’s golden finger (racial talent) is very powerful, so remember that he isn’t human. 3. Moe isn’t a good person. Being naturally dark still means being dark, and the protagonist’s values aren’t the author’s. 4. Moe isn’t a good person! 5. No bashing Gryffindor, Dumbledore, or whitewashing Tom. The writing is average, the plot is brainless, and updates are irregular. Don’t read if that’s not your thing. There are too few original male protagonist stories, but this is my own crack pairing, so I had to write it for myself. If you like it too, all the better. This story draws on whichever film or book I can remember. It’s been about ten years since I read the original, so this is a spur-of-the-moment labor of love inspired by childhood dreams. Thanks to @Zhu Bei for making the cover. It looks great! The author knows there are no nobles in the wizarding world. But because Moe initially lived in the Muggle world, where the aristocracy of the twentieth century was also in decline, he compares that class to the pure-blood elite in the wizarding world. The story is told mainly from Moe’s point of view, so in the first ten chapters, during his first two years before he arrives in the wizarding world, he occasionally uses descriptions like “nobility.” As he spends more time away from the Muggle world, he gradually gets used to the wizarding world’s social hierarchy and stops thinking that way. This isn’t a plot hole; it fits Moe’s characterization and the way he acts. Feisha didn’t make a mistake. Feisha thinks the character would make this mistake, which is why it’s written that way. Not just Moe: if the story calls for it, any Muggle-born wizard who has just arrived in the wizarding world might make this mistake. Moe might even return to the Muggle world and accidentally call its nobles “you pure-bloods.” Quite a few readers have mentioned this, but I don’t think there’s any need to avoid this description just because of other fanfics. I want to portray everything that might have happened at Hogwarts back then as vividly as possible. If it bothers you, feel free to steer clear. Theme: Study hard and choose your friends carefully
