[Harry Potter] The Black Lake

He reached into the Black Lake and drew up a full moon.

The unremarkable coming-of-age story of a Slytherin boy at Hogwarts.

From Xila’s perspective, it could be called The Guide to Pursuing the House Heartthrob, The Days I Shared a Desk with the House Heartthrob, or A Hands-On Guide to Soothing a Tsundere. From Draco’s perspective, it could be called The Mermaid Care Guide, The Years I Was Stuck to Like a Rice Cake, or How to Stop Getting Angry.

Content warnings: 1. Bottom pairing, with an original male protagonist who is a native-born Brit. The author’s own creation, not someone who transmigrated. 2. The Slytherin faction is not whitewashed, and the other houses are not vilified. Some characters make excessively harsh remarks about Gryffindor; those opinions belong to the characters themselves. 3. Pairing with Draco. The story follows and researches the original canon. Friendship comes first in the early chapters. A slow-burn story about two Slytherins clumsily falling in love. 4. Suggestions are welcome, but please be gentle.
