As a mediocre cultivator with a Wood Spirit Root, the only job of lowly servant Jian Tingyu had was tending the immortal herbs in the sect’s back mountains.
The Three Realms had been engulfed in war for years. The hapless servant was caught in the crossfire and died, only to wake up inside a post-apocalyptic survival game called The Fog.
【Players start with a small cabin hidden in the fog. The fog outside the cabin randomly generates maps, including deserts, forests, glaciers, and more. Post-apocalyptic challenges also appear at random, with natural disasters, zombies, mutated beasts, and other threats attacking the cabin.】
While all the other players were terrified, Jian Tingyu’s eyes lit up.
Did this mean that, unlike in the immortal realm, where a poor, weak nobody like him had no access to plants for cultivation, he could find plants and seeds on all kinds of maps here? And he’d have a little cabin of his own, where no demonic cultivator could bombard him, and where he could grow crops?
This place was paradise!
What? Natural disasters? Could they really be worse than people?
What did it matter if zombies wouldn’t die? Were they scarier than the troublemakers in the immortal realm who could live for a thousand years without dying?

Every morning, a new world appeared outside the cabin window. All the other players were despairing over these dangerously unpredictable maps, but Jian Tingyu’s Wood Spirit Root let him follow the ley lines to avoid danger and find plants.
Everyone else: Damn it, the map changed again!
Jian Tingyu: Great, my next shipment’s here!
Everyone else was frantically opening treasure chests and fighting on the maps. Jian Tingyu was busy… gathering plants, farming, and stockpiling supplies.
The maps were random, the treasure chests were random, and everything in the world was in flux.
Only his little cabin was eternal.
So, while every other player struggled to survive the apocalypse, Jian Tingyu’s garden was a safe haven. Vines mutated by spiritual energy wrapped firmly around the cabin, protecting it from snow and wind. Mutated peas with snouts fired bullets to fend off beasts. Chili peppers breathed fire and roasted zombies…
Jian Tingyu curled up in his warm bed, tucked beneath a giant quilt made of mutated cabbage leaves, with the heat from mutated sunflowers keeping him cozy as he meditated and cultivated, cut off from the outside world.
Looking at the thick fog outside his window, Jian Tingyu thought: This is so wonderful, it feels like a dying sect servant’s fantasy.

Lu Qiao’s friends couldn’t understand it. Lu Qiao was ranked first in combat strength across the whole server, so why was he willing to work for free for some frail-looking player who did nothing but curl up in a little cabin?
Lu Qiao: His food is delicious.
Friend: Worth becoming someone’s dog for?
Then the friend discovered that the rice balls Lu Qiao ate, which looked plain at first glance, were actually priceless S-rank goods sold by Jian Tingyu, who topped the server’s survival rankings. They could boost combat strength and heal injuries.
Friend: …Brother Jian, are you looking for another dog? Woof, woof!

After staying up all night to finish a milk tea shop management game, Lin Tian woke up in another world with the game’s System.
【We’ve selected your business district: a lava volcano! Your business goal: serve at least 100 satisfied customers! Fail, and you’ll face the death penalty!】
Looking at the lava flowing in the distance, Lin Tian asked, “...Why choose this place for my business?”
【Our analysis shows that people in this world love milk tea!】
Later, Lin Tian discovered that they really did love it.
The continent was surrounded by volcanoes. The weather was scorching and water was scarce. The people who lived here were all powerful ability users and members of adventurer guilds. They couldn’t even get ordinary water, let alone milk tea!
And so began Lin Tian’s life running a milk tea shop, earning points from sales and exchanging them for water in the System Shop!
The shop’s basic drink was concentrated lemon water, each cup equal to a whole bottle of water and enough to meet your daily needs!
It caused a sensation as soon as it went on sale, and everyone scrambled to buy it.
Customer: “Boss, can you make more?”
Lin Tian: “...I’d love to, but I haven’t unlocked the unlimited refills buff!”
The shop’s signature drink was lava-fruit slush, which could cool you down in no time!
After drinking it, you’d never have to fear the volcano’s heat again. You could even explore deep inside the volcano with ease and collect resources.
Customer: “Boss, can I get a hundred cups?”
Behind the customer stood a fully armed adventurer party, gazing at Lin Tian with eager eyes.
And so the milk tea shop grew bigger and bigger, with more and more items on the menu: ice cream, bread, desserts…
The little stall at the foot of the volcano became a hot spring milk tea shop, then a scenic restaurant, then a teahouse in the sky…
Eventually, as the milk tea shop grew more popular, countless merchants came calling. An adventurer guild, an inn, a blacksmith, and a trading company all sprang up around it…
The once-desolate foot of the volcano gradually became a thriving, comfortable little town.
Lin Tian: “???”
Something seems off here?

Everyone thought that a foreigner with no combat skills or special abilities would soon die at the foot of the volcano, where the living conditions were so harsh.
Until he… opened a milk tea shop. The drinks he sold had amazing effects and tasted great.
They’d never had anything so special. Who knew sweetness could be so addictive?
And so, at some point, all the powerful people on the continent reached a consensus: protect the milk tea shop and its handsome owner who knew how to make milk tea!
After all…
Today, the second cup of lemon water is half price!
