The Demon King Says: If You Refuse, Come Fight! [Western Fantasy]

The newly appointed ruler of the Demon Realm, Aaron, is a bloodthirsty tyrant of legend. He has plunged the Demon Realm into chaos and vowed to seize the angels' holy land and build a new city of demons before the end of New Star Year 22.

His greatest obstacle is Gavin, the leader of the angels who commands their legions.

On the eve of battle, the demon army stands ready to march, while the angels' holy land is on high alert.

Yet just before the war horns sound, the demon army receives the Demon Lord's order to retreat, and the angels' holy land is thrown into turmoil.

After that, His Majesty the Demon Lord, who used to sneer all the time, suddenly becomes unfailingly polite and spends his nights reading by lamplight in the Great Demon Library. Meanwhile, the angel leader, who was usually so serious, suddenly grows arrogant and unruly, and becomes obsessed with stroking the feathers on his wings.

Aaron and Gavin, who have switched bodies, have no choice but to hold frequent "peace talks" through a magic-stone communicator.

P.S.:

1. The story mainly takes place on a "Second Continent" that exists alongside the human world but is invisible to humans. The angels' holy land and the Demon Realm are mentioned most often. The setting also includes other races, though they have little part in the story.

2. The prose has a slight translation-like feel, with some light humor.

3. It combines fantasy elements with some modern technology, so it is not traditional Western fantasy.

4. The body swap is only part of the beginning; later events will revolve around several planted clues.
