We must allow some people to have a quiet youth. They may skip classes, but they will also give up serial comic books because of the coming of the college entrance examination; they may have a boy who has a crush on them, but they will also choose to live their lives in parallel; they may have sweated freely on the playground, but they will also secretly wipe their tears during night study... Youth is not a script, there is no rehearsal in advance, some are just casual eye contact, and encounters with no ending. But no matter what, we should still be grateful for the arrival of youth and the memories it has created for us that are worth remembering for a lifetime.
When I write this, I am twenty-one years old and in the golden age of my life. But looking back, I am far away from my youth. The wind of seventeen years old will not blow to the summer of twenty-one years old. The youth I love will eventually become a relic. I can definitely say that I have become the best version of myself now, and I have realized all the future I planned for when I was young. But when I think back to the scorching sun when I was seventeen years old, I always feel that I have lost something. Maybe it's a friend who should be on the same journey, maybe it's a boy who should have a story, maybe it's the late self-study that I should have worked hard but indulged in, or maybe it's the 50 meters I missed running on the playground. And I didn't figure it out in the end. I had obviously tried hard to spend those days, but when I think about it now, I still feel regretful. My regret may be that I was silent during that period...
Purpose: I would like to write this article to commemorate our youth.
