If You Ever Find Yourself in a Rainy Jiangbei

Lu Xianyan and Lin Wan's story began that night. After watching Lin Wan run 200 meters with Yu Fei on her back, he suddenly thought that there was something different about this girl! At least when it came to strength, nobody else could easily match her!

A week later, he lost the aloof persona he'd cultivated for years when his zipper got caught in Lin Wan's wig.

"Is this girl your nemesis or something?"

"No," Lu Xianyan cut the speaker off without hesitation. "This is called love!"

And sure enough, their love story began on that rainy day.

Lu Xianyan's love for Lin Wan wasn't some earth-shattering romance.

It was simply that rainy night in Jiangbei, when he accompanied this tipsy girl and knocked on her dormitory door.

He's an academic advisor in the Department of Chemical Engineering, and she's a perfumer determined to get into the lab.

"You look familiar, don't you?"

"You look like his girlfriend, don't you?"

"King Wen of Zhou carried Jiang Ziya for eight hundred steps, securing eight hundred years of rule for the Zhou dynasty."

"And your point is?" Lin Wan asked, lying on Lu Xianyan with a puzzled look.

"I carried you for eighty steps. I want to reserve eighty years with you in advance."
