Mao Meng is a fair-skinned, beautiful, green-eyed mixed-race actor who lands a role playing a cat.

The director suggests that Mao Meng spend a month experiencing what it's really like to be a cat.

So Mao Meng brings the script and costume home.

One day, while trying on the costume at home, Mao Meng is accidentally spotted by his landlord, a handsome man who rarely smiles.

From then on, the landlord looks at him differently.

Faced with a pretty little kitty, the cool guy instantly turns into a warm-hearted sweetheart.

Every day, Bai Zhiyu asks him first: Can I touch your tail?

Mao Meng takes the various snacks Bai Zhiyu gives him, turns around, and lets him give his tail a gentle stroke.

Mao Meng reminds him: Don't pull too hard, or my tail will come off.

Bai Zhiyu replies solemnly: I'll be very gentle.

Mao Meng thought he'd be exposed soon, but later realized that was never going to happen.
