Biting His Shirt Stays [Showbiz]

Yi Cheng is a well-known director in the industry, but he has a secret identity: he's a devoted male fan of rising young star Zhou Hengwen, and he writes steamy fanfiction about him on Weibo every day.

Every day, fans ask him: Why does Zhou Hengwen wear shirt stays every time he appears?

Behind his alternate account, Yi Cheng speaks without a filter: I'm into uniforms. I like them.

When he learns that Zhou Hengwen wants to audition for the new series he's directing, Yi Cheng is so excited he can't sleep all night.

At the audition, he pretends to be scholarly, adjusts his gold-rimmed glasses, and looks down at the script as he says coolly, "Let's try a scene first. The changing-room scene."

He doesn't even notice that he's holding the script upside down.

Zhou Hengwen starts undoing his buttons, each movement stretching out endlessly in the thick air.

His back is long and taut, brimming with the unique vigor of youth, like a blaze sweeping across the plains.

Yi Cheng is a few years older than Zhou Hengwen and takes special care of him on set. He thoughtfully cuts all the intimate scenes, and when Zhou Hengwen is in the changing room, he stands guard at the door and says the room can't be used.

Then Zhou Hengwen's voice comes from inside: "Director-ge, my shirt stay is stuck. Could you come help me?"

He walks in, only to find Zhou Hengwen's eyes dark and inscrutable.

It turns out that man isn't some fresh-faced young star at all.

He's an aggressive wolf of a man.

A few months later, the production announces the cast in costume. In the photo, Zhou Hengwen stands against the light, his expression untamed. He becomes an overnight sensation across the internet.

Only Yi Cheng knows that beneath Zhou Hengwen's snug suit pants, he's wearing a leather shirt stay.

And it still bears the bite marks Yi Cheng left on it the day before, when passion got the better of him.
