Haha Grass

Haha Grass is a kind of grass that laughs, and why does it laugh? Because I named it Haha Grass.

It's worth a fortune. I went to the market to buy it, and the seller asked for a hundred million. But that was my entire day's wages, and I couldn't accept it.

"Is there another way?" I asked.

"There is." The seller pointed at my forehead from a distance with his index finger. "You're worth a hundred million too."

Wonderful!

So I sold myself with a laugh, bought a pot of Haha Grass, and the two of us laughed together all day long.

But then I found out that it needed two hundred million worth of fertilizer every day or it would die, so I decided to sell it.

But the merchant who bought me wouldn't let me.

It starved to death, and after that, I could never laugh again.

The author asked a friend, "What's wrong with my blurb?"

The friend replied, "This story is steeped in magical realism from start to finish. Changing even one thing would be a stumbling block on your way to the bestseller list."

Wonderful!

I laughed again.
