Amnesia Trap

Blurb:

Sheng Zhi and Ji Qingfan have been married by agreement for six months.

In outsiders' eyes, Ji Qingfan is cool, beautiful, quiet, and restrained. To Sheng Zhi, however, she is an archrival she can't stand, someone she clashes with at every turn.

The day their agreement finally expires, Sheng Zhi can't wait to end the marriage. But on her way to deliver the divorce papers to Ji Qingfan, she gets into a car accident.

When she wakes again, Sheng Zhi is lying in a hospital bed.

Remembering how, before the accident, Ji Qingfan had told her over the phone that she wanted to extend their marriage for practical reasons, Miss Sheng decides to play along and pretend she has amnesia.

Practical reasons or not, she has no intention of staying married to Ji Qingfan.

With that thought, Sheng Zhi looks at Ji Qingfan in confusion. “Who are you...?”

But before she can finish, the next moment she sees the beautiful woman's eyes grow red with a hint of vulnerability, tears shimmering as she says, “We've been newlyweds for six months, blissfully in love, and we even shared a bed just last night. You said my waist was so sexy. Have you really forgotten me already?”

Sheng Zhi, halfway through her act: ??? Shocked.jpg

Wow, how are you even better at acting than I am?

If I weren't faking my amnesia, I might actually believe you. We've never even kissed, okay?!

*

She has to keep pretending to have amnesia, even if it kills her.

To help her “recover” her memories, Ji Qingfan sleeps beside her every night, takes her fingertips and guides them over her own body, asking if she remembers anything.

To help her “recover” her memories, Ji Qingfan prepares surprises and takes her on dates, claiming they are reliving their romance, then asks if she remembers anything.

To help her “recover” her memories...

Every day of pretending to have amnesia leaves Sheng Zhi blushing and breathless. She grits her teeth and thinks, Ji Qingfan, you really will stop at nothing for practical reasons. You'd actually go this far.

Until one day, she accidentally sees Ji Qingfan's unlocked notes app.

[06.19 Zhi Zhi is still pretending to have amnesia today. She's so cute when she blushes. I want to kiss her.]

[07.15 I counted. This is the seventh year I've been in love with her. It's so frustrating. When will Zhi Zhi love me too?]

After scheming for years to win Zhi Zhi, now all she wants is to use herself as bait, lure her in, and make her fall completely.

*I've been planning this with you in mind for a long time.

- Proud, tsundere heiress x sickly, calculating, flirtatious older woman

- 1v1 / both inexperienced / happy ending

Below is the blurb for my upcoming novel, Wild Notes. Have a look if you're interested.

Blurb: Yin Luo is not a good person.

She's vain and malicious. Even when the cliche of a mix-up between rich families happens to her, turning her from the real heiress into the fake one overnight, all she thinks about is how to stay with the Yin family and keep living in luxury.

She makes life difficult for Wen Xianyue, who has been brought back to the family. Relying on her mother's favoritism, she plays the victim and refuses to stop even when her family publicly declares Wen Xianyue to be an adopted daughter.

Then the Yin family collapses, and Wen Xianyue transforms from a pitiful girl into President Wen. No one knows that Yin Luo, the “bankrupt heiress” everyone believes took her own life, never actually did. Wen Xianyue simply locked her up and played with her like a pet, day and night.

After being locked in the basement, Yin Luo finally regrets it

Regrets that she wasn't crueler, that she didn't cripple Wen Xianyue back then, and that she let her climb over her head.

Reborn in high school, before the truth about the real and fake heiresses has come out, Yin Luo immediately starts investigating where Wen Xianyue is. She decides to get rid of the real heiress who threatens her life of luxury before it's too late.

But after finally tracking down Wen Xianyue's address and going there with a group of people, she sees Wen Xianyue surrounded by a gang, being beaten and kicked...

Looking into the girl's dark eyes, filled with a profound deadness against her pale face, Yin Luo finally learns what kind of past Wen Xianyue has had.

And somehow, her plan to eliminate Wen Xianyue turns into a rescue mission.

Biting her lip, Yin Luo staggers forward and reaches down, pulling the battered Wen Xianyue to her feet.

- Cunning real heiress x wicked fake heiress

“Whether you speak of hatred or love, it's always you.

You are my eternal hatred, and even more, the only one I love.”

Theme: True affection is rare, and love is never easy. Cherish it as you go.
