Blurb:

Jiang Yuan transmigrated.

This world wasn't much different from her own.

She was all alone, with nothing tying her down. And since she'd brought her whole body across, she adapted pretty well.

One day, while passing through an alley by the university on her way to a dinner, Jiang Yuan rescued a woman who was being harassed.

The woman was completely bundled up. Behind her oversized sunglasses was a petite face with cool, refined, striking features. But now her cheeks were flushed, her eyes misty, and she looked like a lily damp with morning dew.

Jiang Yuan hurried over to support her. “Let me take you to the hospital.”

Yu Qingshi braced herself and shoved Jiang Yuan away. “You're an Alpha? No, you're a Beta.”

Jiang Yuan: ?

What was she babbling about? Jiang Yuan couldn't understand a word.

The woman handed Jiang Yuan a syringe, casually sweeping back her black hair to reveal a slender, pale neck. She turned her face, eyes still glistening, and parted her red lips, telling Jiang Yuan to inject her.

Jiang Yuan: “But... insulin isn't supposed to be injected there, is it?”

Yu Qingshi: “...”

It wasn't until the next day, at the university anniversary ceremony, that Jiang Yuan learned the woman was Yu Qingshi, a rising movie star whose career was soaring after winning an overseas award.

Jiang Yuan thought they'd never see each other again, but a few days later, photos of the two of them embracing under a streetlight caused an uproar online and made headlines everywhere.

To help Yu Qingshi conceal her glandular condition, Jiang Yuan signed an agreement to pretend to be her girlfriend. But after one leak and rumor after another, they decided to join a dating reality show.

Their original plan was to show how incompatible they were on the show and then “break up.”

But on the show

They cooked, traveled, and completed challenges together with perfect chemistry, radiating sweetness in everything they did.

Jiang Yuan was awkward and quiet around other people, but the moment she saw Yu Qingshi, her ears turned red and she stumbled over her words.

Yu Qingshi, who was known for being aloof and above the mundane, reached out to Jiang Yuan from beneath the covers in the morning, begging to be held.

Their fans appeared out of nowhere, waving their ship flags all over the internet: “Mommy, Mommy, I was born!”

Later.

When the contract ended, Jiang Yuan left without a fuss.

The next time she heard news of Yu Qingshi, she learned that Yu Qingshi had come down with a fever due to her glands and was bedridden.

Jiang Yuan rushed over to take care of her.

The sick Omega's lips were pale, her voice hoarse but gentle. She curled up small under the covers, so pitiful that it made Jiang Yuan's heart ache, but Jiang Yuan had no idea what to do.

“Yuanyuan... I need you.”

“But I'm not an Alpha, and I don't have pheromones.”

Yu Qingshi smiled softly, took Jiang Yuan's hand, and drew her into her arms.

“Having you is enough.”

Just your scent can soothe me.

Little bonus scene:

Yu Qingshi went into heat while Jiang Yuan was away. She hid herself in the closet, surrounded by Jiang Yuan's scent.

When Jiang Yuan found her, the little Omega was still wearing her shirt.

Jiang Yuan, who didn't have the teeth needed to mark her, was so anxious that tears welled in her eyes. “I don't know what to do.”

Yu Qingshi turned around and pressed her into the corner of the closet. The O, cool as a magnolia, brushed her long hair aside. Just as she had the first time they met, she revealed her pale, jade-like neck. “Be good. I'll teach you.”

Reader's guide:

1. Jiang Yuan is a slow, awkward sweetheart who turns into an affectionate puppy around her wife x Yu Qingshi is an aloof, untouchable beauty who loves acting spoiled with her wife and knows how to play the game.

2. In this ABO world, Betas can't smell pheromones, but Jiang Yuan came here from another world and can.

(Also: Although my protagonist isn't an A, I still have to say that in this world, female Alphas don't have accessories.)

3. A purely sweet romance. When she hears that the celebrity is sick just days after their contract ends, the puppy Jiang Yuan rushes straight over to take care of her.

4. Both are each other's first love.

5. The cast is 98% female.

6. Other couples will be mentioned because of the dating show, but they have very little page time.

Coming soon: After Losing Her Memory, I Was Hounded by an Obsessive Woman

Wen Yan lost her memory.

She woke up in the hospital after a car accident, her mind completely blank.

Her phone was wrecked, so the police contacted the woman she lived with.

The moment the woman saw her, she threw herself into Wen Yan's arms, eyes red and tears streaming down her face.

“Baby, I finally found you.”

The woman was named Lin Shuangzhi. According to her, they had lived together for two years and were about to get married.

Wen Yan looked at the woman in her arms. As if to confirm it, her heart pounded against her chest.

She held her close. “I'm sorry I made you worry.”

Aside from the car accident, life went back to normal.

Their home was full of photos of the two of them, matching couples' items, and... all kinds of finger cots.

Wen Yan blushed. We really are a couple.

But as the days passed, things began to feel off.

Wen Yan found a miniature camera in the room. Just as she was about to call the police, her girlfriend stopped her hand and smiled gently. “Baby lost her memory, and you're home alone. I was a little worried about you.”

While looking for some old files, Wen Yan repaired her old phone and accidentally found messages from someone who had been harassing her.

[Baby, you're so beautiful. I'm soaking wet.]

[Did you get the gift I sent? Do you like it?]

[Who were you talking to today!!! Baby, don't smile at just anyone. I'll get mad.]

Wen Yan had replied with just one message:

[Disgusting.]

When Lin Shuangzhi got home, Wen Yan told her about it.

Lin Shuangzhi was casual. “Just some creep with a crush on you. Ignore them.”

Even when they were caught up in passion, Lin Shuangzhi's face flushed, but she still remembered to ask, “Baby, who am I?”

All of it was like fine red threads weaving a web around Wen Yan.

Then the landlord, who had been abroad, came back and the housekeeper cheerfully asked, “How are you getting along with your roommate?”

“Roommate?” Wen Yan froze.

“Yeah, the one who moved in a month ago.”

Wen Yan was suddenly overcome by a freezing chill, as if she'd fallen into an icy abyss.

Wen Yan opened the door that had been locked.

It led to the room where she used to live.

The room was familiar, but now there were many strange photos of her, taken in secret.

Her memories came rushing back like a rising tide.

Wen Yan instinctively took a step back.

But her back met something warm.

Hot breath brushed her ear, soft as a whisper.

“Baby, what did you see?”

*

Lin Shuangzhi had been in love with Wen Yan for six years.

She followed her, secretly took photos of her, and even sent her harassing messages.

She did everything she shouldn't have.

She paid off the tenant and moved into the home she and Wen Yan supposedly shared.

Then an accident happened.

Wen Yan was in a car crash and lost all her memories.

Obsessive, deranged thoughts kept spilling out. With tears in her eyes, Lin Shuangzhi said, “Baby, I'm your girlfriend.”

Maybe for a day, a week, a month, or perhaps... a lifetime.
