1. The plot and romance are given equal weight. The plot takes a long time to develop, the protagonists have maximum plot armor throughout, and this is not a typical level-up story.

2. The romance features the gong doting on the shou, with a bickering-couple dynamic and a long period of mutual attraction. The shou has a nominal fiancée early on and, due to the Heavenly Dao's influence, doesn't know she's in love with the gong. In the original novel, the villain's descent into darkness wasn't actually caused by love.

3. Events involving outdoor activities, animal training, and pet care are entirely invented by the author to suit the plot. Please don't compare them to real life.

4. The setting is a cultivation world in the early stages of development. The fantasy power level is moderately low. All cultivators need food and drink to survive, and spirit beasts never turn into humans.

5. There is a secondary couple.
