Hello, everyone. My name is Fushiguro Kaede. I'm fourteen and just started my second year of middle school. I have an older brother who's unreliable, but with just a tiny bit of reliability mixed in. You probably won't believe this, but my brother's name is...
Toji Fushiguro.
One day, I realized that he shared a name with the Heavenly Restriction user from a recently popular manga.
Me: ...Bro, so instead of being a professor at Tokyo University, you became a sorcerer killer? And isn't that one-eyed cat infringing on your likeness rights?
Yeah, I couldn't believe it either: the character in the manga looked exactly like my brother.
Surprised? jpg
So I let my imagination run wild and went to a convention with my beloved brother, dressed up in my own original character designs.
Then something absurd happened. I realized that my brother and I had cosplayed straight into the manga.
Me: Uh...
My brother and I silently looked at each other. I thought about our character setups.
One was the strongest Heavenly Restriction user, who defected and became a Tokyo University professor to support his little sister.
The other was a rebellious genius girl sorcerer who followed her brother's lead and could already cast a Domain at fourteen.
Bro: (lights a cigarette with a weary air) Cosplaying with you was the dumbest decision I've ever made... Wait, Gojo Satoru...
...I forgot to mention that my brother's favorite character in the whole manga is Gojo Satoru, the ceiling of cursed energy...
Oh, what a messed-up world.
The heroine is extremely Mary Sue-ish. There is no couple for her, but her brother has one: Gojo Satoru. The story has dual viewpoints, from the heroine's and her brother's perspectives.
Content warnings: The heroine is a big brother-con. Her brother is Toji, and the characters' personalities differ considerably from canon. The heroine really likes Itadori Yuji, but there is no romance; it's purely a mother's love for her son (?). Don't read if that bothers you. The main story is told in third person.
Since the heroine's viewpoint may take up a little more of the story, I changed the story's category to no romance.
Theme: Kick over the bento boxes. They're the world's treasures!
