The Frail Incubus Doesn't Want a Love Triangle

Listening to a bard's latest hit, Carlos, newly reborn, falls silent. He knows the curse could make him break out in all kinds of illnesses at any moment. Remembering everything from his previous life, he feels like even his corpse spots have grown darker.

When Carlos finally gets his eyesight fixed and goes to the dragon's lair, he finds that the other man has collected a whole pile of things related to him, including some forbidden books. "Why did Carlos keep the record of his trip to the dragon clan to seek treasure? There's something you all don't know: his true identity... was someone who went to Dragon Island to sell his ass!"

Carlos: ...? Seems like he hates me too?

Even worse, on the tenth anniversary of the death of the last captain of the holy knight order, the dragon wants to take his coffin home as a life-sized figure, the vampire duke thinks they should bite him a few more times and try to bring him back to life, and the archangel and the demons get into a fight.

Carlos numbly tries to break it up. "We should respect the wishes of the deceased and cremate him."

Everyone turns to look at him.

Carlos has a terrible headache. He feels like everyone has changed since he was reborn.

Fortunately, the prince has governed the kingdom well and doesn't seem to miss him excessively.

But the prince is the first to recognize him in his new life.

As the prince's half-teacher, Carlos is delighted to see that the prince has gone from a gloomy, obsessive child to a sunny, cheerful young man. He drinks with the prince all night.

Until he learns that the prince made a deal with an evil god just to bring him back to life.

That's not right. He doesn't approve.

Then he sees the prince, who has never shed a tear in his life, start crying and say, "Please."

Then the prince extends his eighty-one thorn-covered, demon-corrupted tentacles and says, "Please."

An Xingzhi was born with a strange cognitive disorder: he sees himself as a circle.

In his eyes, his famous director father is a combination of three squares, his dance-loving mother is a soft curve, his celebrity sister is a golden star, and his college-aged brother is a steady triangle.

An Xingzhi's life is greatly affected by this.

Luckily, his family loves him dearly and helps him cope with his condition.

His childhood friend and neighbor is also good to him. From childhood through college graduation, he holds An Xingzhi's hand and tells him the road is flat, helps him with his studies, and helps him overcome the many problems caused by his disorder.

You Xu first meets An Xingzhi on a reality show about celebrity families with young children. Their parents are old friends, and the two boys are paired together. You Xu thinks An Xingzhi is well-behaved, quiet, neat, and pretty, but also rather foolish: he's bad with directions, can't recognize faces, and trips on perfectly flat ground.

You Xu can't help taking care of him and teaching him little games.

Who would have thought that the next time they meet, An Xingzhi won't recognize him? You Xu isn't wearing the same headband as before.

The show begins, and their snacks are confiscated.

An Xingzhi secretly slips him two candies, looking serious but a little worried. "You lost your two horns, so I gave you triangular candies to replace them."

Only then does he learn that An'an isn't foolish; he's sick.

And in An'an's eyes, he's a super-spiky seventeen-pointed star.

Later, after moving, You Xu gains a frail but wildly imaginative neighbor. They go to school together and grow up together.

You Xu is always holding his hand.

Those hands have slipped him candy and held a paintbrush. You Xu wants to put a tiny ring on one of them.

An Xingzhi says he's an unchanging guiding star with seventeen points.

Only You Xu knows how much effort he has put in so An'an can recognize him.

He wants to be An Xingzhi's sun.

A seventeen-pointed star needs a circle to become the sun.

He's An Xingzhi's guiding star, but An Xingzhi is everything that holds him up.
