Kong Tong was straight, had been single his whole life, and had just graduated. He was an utterly ordinary office drone.
One day, he received a notice from the "Alien Immigration Administration." The partner preference form he'd filled out ages ago had yielded a result: he'd been assigned a partner.
In other words, he was getting a wife.
His partner's profile arrived, with these details written in red:
[Species: Dodder]
[Sex: Male]
[Marital status: Widowed]
He knew it. The good fortune of having a wife drop into his lap would never happen to him.
He was hesitating over whether to give up when he met his assigned partner for the first time. Long, straight black hair, pretty and delicate, with sorrow in his eyes as he looked at Kong Tong timidly.
Apart from being male and a different species, and having been married before, he was exactly the wife of Kong Tong's dreams.
So humble and pitiful: "If I can't find someone to marry, I'll be deported..." He was almost in tears.
Kong Tong: "..." He couldn't bring himself to refuse.
After their whirlwind wedding, he went to meet up with friends. One of them asked in astonishment, "You actually dared to marry him?"
Kong Tong thought miserably.
But his wife's previous husband had died of illness, not because his wife had cursed him to death. His wife was so beautiful he could have been a movie star, yet he was willing to stay home as a full-time hus...husband. He seemed like he'd break if touched, and was clingy and sweet. If he had a nightmare and couldn't find Kong Tong, he'd cry.
How could his wife possibly live without him?
After the get-together, his wife, dressed in a long skirt, came to pick him up. Kong Tong was a little tipsy, and his wife looked sad again. "They said not to become your wife's plaything."
Kong Tong panicked. "Y-you're my wife. It's only right for you to...to play with me..."
He really was straight.
But his wife was so pitiful. How could he not comfort him?
He gave his wife his first kiss, then got thoroughly played with by his wife's tentacles.
Kong Tong: "..."
His beautiful wife pressed close. "You're so good to me, darling..."
His wife said, "Darling, don't hang out with those bad friends." His wife said, "Darling, keep it up and go seven rounds tonight." His wife said, "Darling, darling, where do you think you're going?"
Kong Tong felt like he could guess how his wife's previous husband had died. Before his kidneys gave out, he hurried to the Immigration Administration to file the paperwork.
But by chance, he saw his wife's previous marriage application, and his own name was clearly written on it.
Stunned, he asked his wife, who had chased after him, "What is going on?"
His wife panted, clinging to his arm and speaking timidly. "Even if I f*** you to death, I'll bring you back to life and marry you again."
So that's how it was. That's how it was.
He loves me so much.
And so he wandered home in a daze again, where he saw his wife in the kitchen wearing nothing but an apron. Life was still as peaceful and happy as ever.
They kissed and embraced. He was pressed against the counter, trembling with heat, when he accidentally kicked open a cabinet door. Tentacles hidden inside dropped a rope, handcuffs, and a blindfold.
His wife was shocked. "Darling, I didn't hypnotize you!"
Kong Tong: "..."
