Blurb:
After dying, Liu Su, the Dowager Empress of the Mian Kingdom, famous for her spiritual insight, takes the form of a three-year-old and arrives in the modern world to find her older brother.
The modern world has plenty going for it, but the food and accommodations are awful, and the pollution is terrible.
Liu Su was born delicate and is incredibly picky. She needs the finest delicacies to eat, brocade and silk to wear, a flying carriage to ride in, a jade bed that's warm in winter and cool in summer to sleep in, and phoenix hairpins and dangling ornaments for accessories. Luckily, her brother can afford it.
But Liu Su, who can speak with spirit objects, learns from a dying "spirit bell" that her brother is the foil to the male lead in a Long Tian'ao novel.
He'll be falsely accused of plagiarism, cursed by the public, blacklisted by the industry, and eventually abandoned by everyone. He'll be nothing more than an insignificant stepping stone for the male lead.
She has to gain the most likes and attention through a livestream featuring "spirit-object interaction" to change her supporting male character brother's fate.
And so, viewers witness scenes like these:
This cup can talk?
Even bowls have partners these days?
This pen can do homework by itself? The students' eyes light up in unison.
Hugging the ingredients, fabric, and flying horse she'd gotten with her popularity, Liu Su beams and says, "Brother, I'll take care of you!"
[In reality: Ministers from the Mian Kingdom thousands of years in the past see their empress going hungry and cold through the livestream, and start frantically raising her popularity.
They send over the finest fabric and ingredients from the palace, crowdfunding to support their empress across time and space.]
Seeing Liu Su's mode of transport, viewers exclaim, "That horse can fly? How ignorant I've been!"
Seeing Liu Su's chef, viewers are thunderstruck: "That spoon can cook?"
Liu Su even runs into the late Emperor Lin Yu, that scoundrel, at kindergarten.
In her previous life, the dog emperor tricked her into becoming empress, supposedly to protect his one true love.
He promised he wouldn't send her brother to war, but her brother died on the battlefield.
He promised she'd be his only favorite, then turned around and brought a princess from a neighboring kingdom into the palace.
This time, it turns out he's the younger brother of the male lead, Long Aotian.
When the dog emperor keeps pestering her, Liu Su shoves him down with arrogant disdain. "How dare you! I am the Dowager Empress. You are an emperor. This is improper!"
The former emperor says, "We were husband and wife. How can there be a generation between us? I should be the Retired Emperor."
Liu Su scoffs. "You were still an emperor when you died. I am the one and only proper Dowager Empress."
Yun Hu suddenly finds himself with a little sister. She's adorable, but she's been poisoned by palace-intrigue dramas. She keeps calling herself "this widow" and saying the strangest things with her cute little face, always making him struggle not to laugh.
Ever since he got a little sister, Yun Hu has become a doting brother. His social media is full of embarrassing photos of her, and she takes over his livestreams. He has to spoil her with the finest food and drink, and she can't go without luxurious clothes or expensive delicacies.
What's more, his little empress is proficient in music, dance, the zither, chess, calligraphy, and painting.
She livestreams every day without fail.
A variety show recording, behind the scenes:
Liu Su is as tiny as a dumpling, but her presence is imposing. "I haven't eaten yet!"
The skinny little kid across from her, thin as a monkey, says, "Your Majesty, this old servant is no longer a palace maid."
Liu Su furrows her little brows and thinks, That's true. Very well, times have changed.
The little palace maid stands up anyway and says, "This old servant will serve you your food." (Oh, that wretched servility!)
The many viewers captivated by the "little empress" cry out, "Your Majesty, this humble servant is sending you money!"
Good heavens, that wretched servility! ╯□╰
Reader's Guide:
1. This is primarily a heartwarming story. The original male lead may be portrayed negatively. The focus is on the warm relationship between the heroine and her brother, with some people from the palace in her previous life appearing along the way. The heroine is a noble little Dowager Empress with no childhood, but plenty of childlike wonder.
2. Important: No romance until they're old enough. The emperor will face his comeuppance, but he may not win her back. There may be another pairing.
3. Set in a fictional world, unrelated to reality.

Blurb:
Liao Yue is a witch who has lived for thousands of years. When people dug her out of a cave, she had a pair of floppy rabbit ears and a little ball of fur for a tail.
While the archaeologists weren't looking, she rode away on her magic broom and secretly took some of the artifacts they'd excavated.
In this age of advanced technology, filled with cameras, she has nowhere to go and nowhere to hide.
Just then, a stone map among the artifacts lit up.
[You have been bound to the Nonhuman Community Development Company. This is your land deed.]
Following the map, Liao Yue flew all around the city before finally stopping in a dead-end alley. The stone map glowed red.
A pocket of space appeared in the alley. It was tiny, with only a single-story wooden house and a very small backyard.
The run-down little house had a sign that read "Nonhuman Community."
*
Have you heard?
A community has opened in Black Alley, specifically looking for nonhuman residents. I hear a chart-topping star, a renowned scientist, and an astronaut who's just returned are all living there.
What kind of place is it?
A residential community offering homes to nonhumans.
They are outcasts in this world. To survive, they have to hide their identities and pass themselves off as human, always walking on eggshells and treading carefully.
Liao Yue is the property manager of the "Nonhuman Community," but the residents always treat her like their daughter or little sister.
The mind-reading top-tier star wags his tail. "Yue Rabbit, I bought you fried chicken. Come over to my place."
The scientist with grass growing on his head says, "Precious Yueyue, the cucumbers in my garden are ripe. Come over."
The handsome streamer with heterochromatic eyes and the ability to foresee the future says, "Little Yueyue, I bought lots of meat. Come over for dinner tonight."
Liao Yue raises one ear. "I already have plans tonight."
The residents ask, "With who?"
Liao Yue says, "A poor thing whose dragon scales have all been stripped away."
Theme: The future is so beautiful. We don't need feudal thinking!
This ending is too hasty!!! What about the side story, woo woo, don't let the little empress dowager and Lin Yu continue to flirt with each other, the stinky man needs to step back.
At the end of the show, hehehe, it's actually Ning Ruobai! If Lin Yu is not relieved, how does the old queen think her son is so popular? Hahahahaha
Very good, not as good as the emperor
Woohoo, it's gone!!!!! I really want to see their love
Special support for Mr. Ning and the little Queen Mother to be together!!!!
It seems that everyone in Wuhu has turned into a spiritual being, so wouldn't the little Queen Mother be the same? [Scratching head]
Oh! There is actually a side story
