I Went Viral After Faking My Death and Becoming a Virtual Idol

Song Xunzhi, a singing streamer, transmigrated into the body of a little idol who shared her name. She discovered that the original girl was obnoxious and fake on the talent show she was competing in, had terrible professional skills, and was being viciously flamed by the entire internet.

As a socially anxious person, she blacked out and chose to "fake her death."

The idol Song Xunzhi from before is dead. Now I am the virtual idol Song Xunzhi!

Virtual streamer Zhi Zhi Gardenia burst onto the scene. The silver-haired, paper-doll idol sang loudly on screen and drew in a huge wave of fans.

A clip from one of her livestreams also went viral: "My blunt take on today's idols: if you don't have the skills, you should be taken off the stage!"

The internet exploded. A huge wave of fan girls who felt personally attacked and wanted to defend their idols flooded Zhi Zhi's livestream, and then... couldn't leave.

The streamer is so right. What's the point of looking at pretty faces with no talent? Idols should be like the streamer, amazing singers and full of energy!

I'm sold!

After she became a huge hit, Song Xunzhi did everything she could to keep her secret identity under wraps. If someone dug up her real identity and doxxed her, she'd be done for!

The original girl was a troublemaker who'd been flamed by the entire internet. Song Xunzhi couldn't even imagine what would happen if people found out that she was the person behind Zhi Zhi's avatar.

But then the man behind her measured her body with a stylus, accidentally appearing in the frame of Song Xunzhi's facial motion-capture equipment.

The expensive motion-capture equipment she'd bought glitched, an unusual occurrence. Onscreen, the silver-haired girl stood frozen with her mouth open, while a barrage of "???" comments filled the livestream.

Song Xunzhi: ...Don't come any closer! Aaaaaah!

A virtual streamer with amazing professional skills x an industry-leading 3D modeler

She starts out as a 2D avatar, then gets a 3D one later.

Also known as From Paper Doll to Having the Back of My Head (not really)

*She never gets found out. If that happens, it will only be in an alternate-universe extra.

No real-life inspirations, no real-life inspirations. The author just likes watching streams with avatars, so please don't accuse me of being a fan of anyone. Oniichan, come on.
