When their eyes meet, she darts her gaze away like a startled little animal, or even runs off. Why? * I want to hear you call me "sugar" one more time. * For a timid person who takes a while to warm up, love is a feeling that builds little by little. Asada Kana often zones out in class, tracing the outline of the boy sitting in front of her to the right with her gaze. Honestly, putting "youth" and "unrequited love" together is just another way of spelling regret, isn't it? Check out my author page~ [Haikyuu!!] When the Dog-like Miya Atsumu Gets Sentenced to a Life Without a Wife: A friend dragged me along to watch a volleyball game. Great, lots of handsome guys. I was satisfied. At this point, the usual plot would dictate that I start a long, drawn-out, and most likely tragic unrequited love story. But I'm not the proper sort. The very next day, I cornered him at the school gate. My skateboard, which I'd been practicing on for ages, finally came in handy. I gleefully rode up, slammed on the brakes, and spun 180 degrees right in front of him, looking wildly cool and cocky, with a rose in my mouth (not really). What kind of dazzling blond guy could resist my charms? I said confidently, "Hello. Let's get married." My proposal target's face twisted for a few seconds before he replied in what I considered an adorable Kansai accent, "Are you an idiot?" I saw through him. He was just shy. I smiled and said, "Men are all talk. You're just playing hard to get." After a while, I realized he really was a jerk. But I put up with it for two months because I was pursuing him. He's so hot. I was very satisfied. One day, after club activities, I rushed to watch the dazzling golden retriever practice, having stayed behind for a meeting. Miya Atsumu was sitting with his back to me by the door. Maybe he thought I wouldn't show up, because he was badmouthing me to his teammates: "She finally skipped a day." "She's so annoying. Ever since that day she suddenly decided she wanted to marry me, she's been clinging to me like she's got some kind of sensor. She gives me one flower today, another tomorrow. Honestly, giving flowers is so old-fashioned!" Miya Osamu: "You're so annoying, Atsumu. You sound like an immature kindergarten boy, bragging in circles while trying to save face..." Miya Osamu didn't finish, because I snapped. I mean, my fist was rock hard. Immature, arrogant, reckless, bad-tempered, sharp-tongued brat! ↑ That night, I spent at least three hours feeling miserable (and cursing him out). After all, his face really was my type. Then a friend, after listening to me ramble about how dog-like Miya Atsumu had been for the past two months, hesitantly suggested, "...Well... if you only like his face, his twin brother is more dependable." The next day, I rode my skateboard straight toward the brat's younger brother. I was so excited that I turned 180 degrees on the spot and crashed into a slide. ...I was careless. I wasn't wearing contacts today, so my real eyes came flying out. Luckily, I landed right on the kindhearted Miya Osamu, who was sitting on the ground. He didn't even push me away. He picked up my glasses first. Waaah, I'm so moved. Before I even put them on, I boldly blurted out, "Marry me!!" Miya Osamu didn't refuse. I guessed his heart was pounding and his face was turning red. I put on my glasses, ready to admire the handsome guy blushing, but I saw the blond guy wearing a wicked grin. I had a feeling Miya Atsumu was about to make his usual snide remark, "You really can't live without me, huh?" So I shoved him away with a thud. "Why is it you?!" Miya Atsumu's smile vanished. He stared at me and said each word slowly: "...You really have some nerve." Theme: Be brave and sincere, and make the most of your youth.
